pinecone
Well, I've finished the re-write for Feral, I've incorporated a lot more "Super mage" qualitys...I'll see if the GM signs off. If it's a "go" I'll post it here in a day or two...

pinecone
Next will be a "Toractan Shard Beast" a Malvan monster used for arena, and guard functions. (Not my design, but modified to fit my Multiform)
pinecone
Well, we stole a Malvan assault craft (Telepatic interrogation for recognition codes, plus disguise/Shapeshifter got us on board.) This week we rounded up a couple of alien (NPC) heroes and assaulted the Warship the assault craft came from. Turns out the Malvan gadgeteer we teamed up with is from the (currently deposed) royal family. Next week we will try to help her out, in return for Malvan noninterference, and protection from a Hzeel invasion. Once that little item is checked off, it's back home to Milenium City! It's a good thing my character has tenure! Sorry about the Shard Beast, I'll try to get it posted today...

drunkonduty
Cool. And a nice bit of action report too.
pinecone
Thanx, I'm hopeful that this can be a "thing" for a while anyway...I guess I should move it over to "quotes" once I run out of builds to post. Right now I feel that it adds "context" to the builds. The other two heroes are Nebula, an alien, currently on Earth, TK powers, and the like. And The Shroud, a Darkness manipulator, TP/ Martial artist type....he seems to do a lot of ranged attacks though...Shroud was unavailable for the last two sessions, so we had to get help from NPC heroes. It's possible Nebula (Rigel?) will leave Earth, once we "fix" Malvan politics... The player may want to run a new character..
drunkonduty
"Fixing" Malvan politics. Nice game concept. Although the thought of a politically active Malva should be a bit worrying to the galaxy at large.
pinecone
Word, though my first thought on how to "fix' them was to trigger a civil war. Apparently they are strongly modeled after the Romans in this universe, and we've just had a admiral toss the claudian emperor off the throne. I guess the gadget girl we've hooked up with will try to be a reformer. She has expressed a belief that a war vs the Hzeel will keep the solders busy, and the Admirals happy. My char figures the rest of the galaxy can take care of it's self, he is only concerned with Earth's independence.
drunkonduty
Malva vs the Hzeel? Short war. At least in the official Champions Universe. Clearly the one you're playing in is a bit different, which is cool.
Lawnmower Boy
"Fixing" Malvan politics. Nice game concept. Although the thought of a politically active Malva should be a bit worrying to the galaxy at large. I, for one, welcome our new, decadent, golden-skinned overlords. pinecone
I'd like it myself. Right now I'm a little bummed about the whole thing... So I'm going to wait and see...
kenstcyr
Don't worry, we'll get back to it.
pinecone
I hope so, as I said, I was kinda bummed. I might be going to the HP Lovecraft film festival though...If I am up to it. I have not purchased Tix, because I don't know if wandering around in a crowd is a good plan. If I decide to go, I'll drop ya a line on Friday. Take, care... pinecone
If we get back to Malvan politics, I am looking forward to using a top end Shapeshifter in a "skullduggery" scenario.
