WWYHD: Husband And Wife Villain Duo

Recently, a new pair of villains has shown up in Campaign City; a husband and wife duo. The two of them have been a nightmare to deal with because, in addition to each being respectably powerful in their own right, they've trained with each to the point that they can use their powers in combination to great effect, and the love and devotion they have for each other is so strong that they pretty much scoff at any attempt at divide and conquer. On top of all that, the lovey-dovy way they talk to each other during combat is starting to get on your nerves.

Thunder and Lightning I assume. Or Panda and Raccoon.

 

Sunburn - Assuming he can't get the couple to listen to reason, he'll gather some experienced supers who also work well together to out teamwork them. Burn has nothing against lovely dovely talk.

 

Jet Justice - Fly about and attempt an arrest of the couple, and since he came from a time period where the stories were mostly men can be evil, but women can be only misguided, will focus on the male half of this duo.

 

Paradox Timely - Will work behind the scenes because, well, that is how she operates. She will manipulate the other superheroes into countering both of them, and try to use her long list of skills to manuver hero's to counter the duo.

Iron Maiden will be a little envious, frankly, that they've each found another person they can trust so completely and depend upon in a fight. But she'll still kick their asses because that's the job.

[Heroic Halfwit]

Halfwit sez, "Clearly these two are terribly insecure in their relationship.  One suspects, in fact, that the relationship is largely dead.  Quite possibly due to sexual inadequacy or incompatibility, which would explain why they are engaging in this anti-social thrill seeking behavior.  In truth, the most likely feel profoundly trapped in their relationship.  Super crime allows them to both get an adrenaline rush and exercise some of their frustrations by pounding on the only targets that can actually take it.  After all a man who can toss around tanks isn't going to feel any kind of catharsis beating up a pillow.  I wonder if they have any children and if any such children might be genetically disadvantaged instead of superhuman...."

 

Belle says, "What an annoying piece of saccharin coated spandex.  Bless his heart!"  then wallops Mr. Annoying.  Turning to Mrs. Annoying and smiling beatifically , "You need a ride to Cube sweetheart?"
