Re: A Thread for Random Musings Well, I have the joy of supporting the Pharmacy applications at the hospital for the next week by myself. With the Emergency Department of the new hospital opening up during that time. Kind of a positive/negative thing. My boss is confident enough with my knowledge of systems I've only been working with for 5 months that he's willing to take time off while a fairly important department in the new hostpial opens up. On the other hand, I've got to deal with making sure that everything goes smoothly with the pharmacy systems integrating into the new ED without having a backup. There are times that 5 months seems like a great deal of time; this isn't one of them.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Cool. I know a lot of people that really enjoy King's work. I'm perfectly willing to accept that it is tea, just not my cuppa. I don't have any particular problem with his stuff, outside the fact that I'm not very fond of it. Just like country music. I can't stand it, and it is in fact about the only kind of music that I can't even tune out, it just annoys me the entire time I can hear it. But it doesn't surprise me that other people like it a great deal. I don't consider it to not be music, or that people that like it are somehow "wrong", I just don't have any interest in hearing it myself. Wow...rambling more than usual...must be about bedtime...
