I think Ben Franklin came to fear lightning at some point in his career. Or at least respect it.

 

I don't empty my bowels at the thought of it, but I fear lightning enough to get inside when it's lightninging out.

But Franklin figured out how to protect you and the building from lightning which also pissed off some religious types at the time.

My grandparents were fastidious Irish Catholics. None of their children is religious anymore. I went to Catholic elementary school and had religion pounded into me every day. I use them for all my Heroic level games. I like the fact that it helps with changing the mindset away from kill the monsters and take their stuff.

The Buccaneer's one would be named Captain Fear and his first name in his secret ID would be Bruce. He would be a swashbuckling acrobat type. He would be beloved by the city. Oh he would have sidekicks called the (something) Krewe or Krewe of (something).
