one of my own designs from my terran commonwealth campaign of years ago looks like a traditional flying saucer

in traveller, the jump and manuever drives do have seperate power sources and are not tied together as one drive, so I left things seperate

its not a force field, its regular armor, but that was a typo on my part. also I dont use a vpp for the sensor array because treveller uses a fixed definition of what the sensor array can do, instead of the vagueness of being able to reconfigure as needed.

a group called the Adjutant did a set of 10 small vehicle guides years ago, they had some nice vehicles I never have cared for Command Decision, especially Combined Arms, having been part of the Red Storm Rising mega-game they used to playtest it then again I've never been a big fan of franks in general I also have 101 Vehicles from Digest Group and Emperors Vehicles for T4f 101 Vehicles has some great stuff for MT, but I'm leery about puttting any of it up cause Roger Sanger is really uptight about anything being used

long ago I considered writing up something for doing SF minatures with the hero system. but it never went anywhere but Dirtside 2 from Ground Zero games is nice, simple, and you can use whatever minatures or counters you have handy we play it with microarmor/epic scale figures Striker is nice, but works best in 15mm, and the old 15mm martian metals figures are hard to come by at best, although I have a few here

I got lots more design ideas, and a few more traveller canon designs I could post but Hero doesnt really have a decent system for SF combat I would recommend either Striker or Dirtside 2

its a flying bus. its 10 displacement tons converting hexes to displacement tonnage by volume actually for a size comparison 10 displacement tons is roughy 135 cubic meters, which is the interior volume of a 40' semi trailer. so thats what I use for comparison

I went with it having the limited firing because its usually fired by the main gunner IIRC, but its hard telling from the art whereas the drivers vrf is a standard fixed hull mount

ok, heres the monster of the imperial navy the Tigress class Dreadnought. I wouldnt want to be in front of that meson gun something about 13+1 D6 NND RKA that does Body with a 100,000 megascale range I mounted the meson gun, 8 missle bays and 8 triple laser turrets, along with 30 ramparts to describe what it looks like, picture a dreadnought sorta shaped like a pacman NO i am not kidding!!! its a spheroid hull with a big chunk taken out of the front and a blastshield that raises and lowers to cover it, along with a large boxed shaped aft hull
