    CAK's are very playable, and needed in a good Superhero based game. There are always exceptions to the rule. One player wanted to take CAK at 19 points...Why, in case they ever went against Dr. Destroyer. Even a ninja superhero had it at the 10 point level, in 12 years he only killed on one occasion. The penalty for breaking a 20 point disad was unluck for a few games, along with the local law enforcement having a few questions.

    Reminds me of the 'Captain Jackson' (I think that's what the guy was called) thread

    from a few years ago here on the boards -- another troubled individual with a super-

    hero costume fetish (read as: a whack job who really needs to be medicated, or put

    back on it if he was already taking some).

    Can you step back for a moment and think to yourself...."Maybe this person is actually doing some good". Instead of going with the " this person needs to be medicated" angle.

    Dragons have been around for a long time , heroes ( and villains) have been hunting them for nearly as long. So by the laws of natural selection, evolution, etc. and a elderwyrm dracomage 5d6 of damage negation only vs called shots might be in order.

    In My opinion: Drop conversation, decent role-playing should cover that. Lose the contact, that needs to be built up thru a relation ship , not just dropping 10 points and there it is.

    I would also drop paramedics and tactics and replace it with 6 open-ended points: that way if you group has 4 members, one could use those 6 points to be a combat medic, another can use them to be the teams face man, another could be the vehicle specialist, and another could be the resident mech/tech person .

     

    But thats just me.

    If you have the time, do a re-write of the heroes , at age 7-10 and 1/3 of their current power level along with kid level disads ( complications: bully, wimp, tattletale etc.) and Kid -fu (wedgie, pinch-de-blub, tittie twister . If you have access to CLOWN material...all the better, and the amount of humor can be a awesome change of pace.
