We are pretty much watching climate denial in real-time and trackable. The literal lengths politicians will go to, etc etc... -

Seems like the official R party platform is now becoming 'we don't know who won the last election, and we shouldn't have certified the results'. So you understand, if you have one part of a country thinking one person is president, and another almost as large part saying another person is president, you don't have one country anymore. -

Yes. I had seen part of it when I had shared it and I thought it was the worst of it, but it got worse -

Best example of the 'texas abortion law' abuse I've seen yet - sure, women can drive, but anyone who sees a women driving a car can just sue the dealership or even auto manufacturer. Now of course they don't even need to see her driving, they can just suspect she's driving, or if that's too much trouble they can just accuse her of driving with no evidence at all. Now, before you get your constitutional britches in a hitch, we aren't saying she can't drive or that a dealership can't sell her a car, we are just saying you aren't legally allowed to say any of those things when someone sues you for it. -

“Never before have we seen a defendant so committed to thumbing his nose at the Court. By disrespecting judicial authority, Mr. Jones was playing was with fire, and now he has been burnt,” Bankston added. “In these lawsuits, Mr. Jones refused to comply with discovery orders on five successive occasions, produced child ****ography in discovery, threatened the lives of plaintiffs’ counsel, repeatedly refused to provide testimony, provided false and evasive discovery responses, submitted a fraudulent affidavit, and has continuously introduced chaos and absurdity into the proceedings.” -

never seen it. I more referenced it for the situation in Idaho... and the comments in the video do say that at least one of the health providers won't be doing the DNR... at least for now. I really wonder how bad this can get. How much more of the population in these areas can be spreading it before the whole state is infected? -

This is apparently more of the opinion that dropboxes in Georgia should be entirely discounted from the election process. So basically, discount the dropbox results that were probably perfectly legal? -

There's a whole thing from Beau of the Fifth a few months or so ago about how, if there was a civil war, it would mean the 'protected classes' would be the ones especially abused and targeted, resulting in incredible suffering from black people in red states. Though this was his way to try and get people on the left to de-escalate tensions during the Floyd protests. This law seems like a legalized form of that abuse. -

It'll be teachers/schools next. My interpretation is that this is a way to legalize warfare against other classes. The whole intent of this is to make a proxy war through the legal system. edit: I should add, I don't want to add to any FUD/alarmist behavior. I'm just very worried this is going to explode. -

It's legalized warfare against other classes, starting with women. 😕 -

I think the calculation is just 'more liberals will die / go broke from these laws than conservatives'. The same calculation in denying covid, in fostering violence through tools like the anti mask movement and the new abortion laws. -

So it's actually blocking abortion at the 4-5 week mark based on the calculation? Just started watching this, but it should be a helpful review of this. -

This financially incentivizes communities abusing women who miscarry. The thinking behind this reminds me of freaking Sesame Credit -

I should clarify. When I say "hopefully this won't last long" - I mean that this law is going to cause such chaos that they'll have to repeal it or risk continual riots. I really hope 'this law' won't last long. What also scares me is the application of this law to empower a political party to use financial incentives plus legal forces, and to foster violent confrontations, using laws like this. They are basically empowering 'crazed Q types' to create violent confrontations, and what specificially scares me is that they are making the possible political calculus that the benefit of having their followers violently confront people is worth more than the political loss of encoding such violent action in literal law. -

I suspect women are going to be killing themselves in Texas as well, at a much higher frequency. https://www.thecut.com/2019/06/alabama-woman-shot-in-stomach-charged-with-manslaughter.html -

I've been reminded that abusive husbands and boyfriends will absolutely have their GFs/wives investigated/attacked for having a miscarriage (a 'suspected abortion'), so they can net a 10k reward check. We are going to see violence/behavior against women that will make Russia look friendly. -

Before I forget my other real point. It also will lure people to potentially stalk women to 'catch them in the act' to try and get an abortion... and in a stand-your-ground state, with the excuse of 'trying to stop a baby murder', people are going to get shot. I expect if that happens there'll be huge protests/counter-protests, in Texas, but this hopefully won't last that long. -

The very structure of this law makes a very mockery of civil court and the concept of standing, which is central to civil law. It actually financially incentivizes 'races to sue' where a community dogpiles on anyone involved in an abortion in the hopes to be the first to get payouts from the wealthiest targets before anyone else can drain them dry.
