Re: A Thread for Random Musings I’ve been thinking about this on and off for a long time, you see I am far zanier when I am feeling happy, but conversely I am more witty when I am feeling down, it’s like this pendulum of comedy and I am attached to the round doohicky… you know, the head. I wish there was a happy median... but then again, a median might just be a schlep with no humour in him what so ever. The question is: Is it better to not face the crazy heights and the dizzying lows that give the much needed creative spark or should I seek for a way to centre my energy as my friend Gray’s Qui Gong master mother once said I should? Is it better to be safe and always more or less happy and healthy living my life in mediocrity or is it better to feel unexplained joy that acts as a counter melody to your gut curdling bleakness? Ahh what the hell do I know?

Re: Musings on Random Musings there have been pro ana sites for ages offering thinspiration and negative thinspiration (grotesquely fat people). Most of them are made by stupid girls and you can generally tell at a glance which ones they are, however the more professional sites are a little more interesting for example: They often have great dieting and exercise techniques that WW and JC recomend, they have well made BMI counters and some even have proper E-Zines that don't contain poor spelling. (shock horror.) As an aside the entire "are anorexia and bulimia actually diseases" debates really interest me.
