  1. I don't like D&D much, really. However, I like how you can prevent a spell from having verbal components by making it more difficult. Would it be possible to nakedly buy off a disadvantage like Incantations? Like you have to expend more END to cast the spell silent. Just a thought.
  2. I saw the guy with his spaceship over on the RPGnet forums earlier; I love it. It sort of suggested "Han Solo" to me, if only because of the shape of the ship. I also loved how it combined traditional and digital techniques to create something you couldn't really create with either alone (the water spots come from reality, the utterly smooth gradation that dominates the picture comes from the digital world. Great fusion of the two!) I've been toying with doing a space opera campaign, though certainly not anytime recently. I think this one captures the feel of the genre very well. (Hell, it's my wallpaper right now.) Thanks for letting us all in on your sketches! I'm really digging it.
  3. A multiform would give you the least grief on this one. You wouldn't have to worry about accidentally reverting that way or anything.
  4. No kidding. What good are claws and healing really fast when your oppopnent can shoot lasers out of his eyes, fly and drop building on you? Or when he can drop buildings on you, change shape or walk through walls? Or imprison you in a green bubble and send you out in space until you suffocate? I think the X-Men still have a 50-50 shot just because the writers gets to choose who wins, but doing a good write-up in Hero and then sending them against each other would result in a JLA win.
  5. It's that whole Chads thing. Punch badly and that rot.
