Re: Name this NPC. Since my Desmond Dekker tickets came today and I'm listening to Famous Monsters right now, I'm going with Desmond Graves. And I'm banking Pericles for later. Thanks guys.

This is a figure of an upcoming character in my campaign. He's a big-time magician who is sorta "grey" in motives. He may be an adversary one week and an ally the next. He is an Oxford educated necromancer and medium. Originally, I was trying to make a Biggie Smalls mod.

Re: Clix mod challenge The head is Crimson Dynamo (filed down a bit). His body is an Intergang dude. The blade is from a Mageknight and the shield is the bottom of a tube of X-acto blades with Zap-a-gap energy lines. I am still working on the CKC guys you wanted so I think I'll send them all at once. Dr D came out pretty good. I'm working on the Crowns now.

Re: This week on "Champions"... Team F-up 8:00pm: Mad Angus falls to Vendetta while the team fights Flashpoint. Captain M and Mr. Mayhem disarm a bomb. Kid Mysterion tells the team that she heard Dr. Mindkiller has the launch codes. Will they find him in time? And how does the war god Belal fit into his plans?

Re: Help me with my Champions plot Two great story ideas... I'd combine them. Use DavidBlue's suggestions for Viper and Demon's motives but have the Seal be lost Kryptonian tech. Viper and Demon would believe the legends to be fact and not be aware of the Kryponian connection. Enkidu is in stasis in the Fortress of Gilgatude, protected by Kryptonian super-tech. If Demon or Viper get away with the seal, the PCs could decipher the writings on the seal and deduce the whereabouts of the Fortress, beating Demon and Viper (perhaps setting a trap for them). I'm sure Demon and Viper have enough moles in each other's organizations to both show up at the same time.

Re: A little name help. I know you wanted help, but I think The Revenant is a great name. I'd love to have a player run a character like that in my campaign. He'd fit right in.

Re: Here on Earth-2: your evil counterpart! When I ran a dimention-hopping adventure, my PCs found a few familliar faces... Vincent, the Next to Last Vampire Hunter met Vincent, the Next to Last Vampire. Ezekiel Lao, Agent of Oracle met Emperor Lao, Lord of the Americas. Their Lao used his occult knowledge to conquer a few continents instead of fighting demons. Dr. Benedict, occult investigator met Dr. Benedict, old man who ruined the planet. Instead of finding the amulet that turned him into Captain Mysterion in 1940, he opened the Tomb of the adversary, dooming mankind. Ooops. Lillith, shy mentalist met her evil twin Eve, slutty mentalist. Our world's Eve drowned in a boating accident at age 6. Lao-world's Lillith died in the accident instead. Lillith stole Eve's clothes and impersonated her. She has since adopted Eve's outfit as her own. Our Vincent stayed in Vampire World to lead the human resistance (the player had left the game.) Lillith took Eve back home and freaked out her mom.

What's going on out there in your campaigns? I thought it would be neat if we posted a TV Guide style synopsis of our game each week, listing your campaign name and any major developments. For example... Team F Up sun 8:00- Kid Mysterion summons the team to New Challengers HQ which is under attack. They find Morningstar and Mr. Mayhem dying and a new (and deadlier) Vendetta!

The original problem was dealing with supers who refuse to get dead. If Sal Molloy from New Britain kills a clerk in a stick-up and gets the chair, it'd be stupid and no more humane to freeze him. If Immortalos the Destroyer is convicted of eating the clerk and his physiology is such that he can't be killed without damaging the environment and interupting cell phone service, I say ice the bastard and hang a big "don't open 'til doomsday" sign on the tube. I wasn't suggesting to replace traditional incarceration with C-S either, although at least a felon wouldn't learn tricks from other prisoners and make future contacts in cold-sleep.

It's the same as a death sentence to the convict. Perhaps your problem with cold-sleep is that it doesn't feel like a punishment to the public. While public opinion doesn't affect the reality of the punishment, it would hinder the passing of any measure to icehouse killers. Hey! Icehouse. "It'll be the icehouse for you for sure this time, Dr. Badguy!" Now I need to use cold-sleep in my campaign just for the slang term!
