  1. Re: Complicate the Person Above L. Marcus only thinks he is a God. In reality, he is not but a koala bear hanging in the trees.
  2. Re: The cranky thread Yeah. Not so happy anymore. Just found out the CSR here complained/cried to the owner of the company last week about not being able to get everything done every week. So, by order of the owner, she is to turn over the issuing of RMA's (returned-material-something or other) to our department...which means me. Yeah. Like I'll get it done in a more timely manner than her? I have to invoice for 2 companies every day, enter payables for 2 companies, pull invoices to match with check stubs, and file those invoices and check-stubs. I have no time to f-in learn and issue RMA's. I'm telling ya, if she'd learn to manage her time better (which means spend less time complaining she's got too much to do and kissing a@@ at the same time), she could get her job done and not be so stressed. No idea when this will be handed over to me, but, I'm not happy about it.
  3. Re: Complicate the Person Above L. Marcus, the badest of the bad, steals candy from the children he lures into his car.
  4. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread Lol. Just so long as the baby doesn't end up drunker than the legal limit.
  5. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread That's what I'm hoping for as well. Then again, my mom had 3 of us kids, plus she did in-home daycare for 20+ years...so I'm sure she's got all kinds of secrets that will help as far as getting baby to sleep through the night.
  6. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread For those that don't know...DocO and I are expecting a baby gamer in October.
  7. Re: Musings on Random Musings No kidding. DocO will most likely be working Friday through Monday (10 hour shifts) and have Tuesday through Thursday off. It'll be hard, but I know we'll make it work. As for keeping her on your flist...I'd do the same thing too if I were in the situation.
  8. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Fingers crossed, yet chickens haven't been counted yet. DocO had his 3rd interview at OTS today...with the head hancho no less. Long story short, it looks pretty damn good that he's got the job. They'll be calling him in a couple days to discuss going down and getting paperwork filled out.
  9. Re: Make Your Own Motivational Poster Course he had to get serious. He's Sketch. Anywho. Below is my contribution to things.
  10. Re: A Thread for Random Musings 11 hours left of work (between today and Monday). Then I'm on vacation. However, for some reason today, I'm feeling not as excited to be going to the Con. Odd.
  11. Re: A Thread for Random Musings It's nice knowing I've only got 2 days of work left before I leave on vacation to GenCon. It's also nice knowing I'll have around $150 cash to take with me (the rest of what I spend is on the credit card, I know...not the greatest idea...but...I've got bills to pay next week while I'm gone. ). All is good. And my inbox will soon be empty. And by the time I leave work on Monday at 4:30, it should be nice and clean and empty. Until I return on the 15th, of course.
  12. Re: Musings on Random Musings *hugs Log* Stop trying so hard and you'll find the right woman...unattached and beautiful...all it takes is patience.
  13. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Can I just tell you that your stapling-fu is way off? Or perhaps you'd just understand it better if I told ya flat out that your stapling SUCKS!!! Ok. I'm done.
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Lol. I know...I was just giving ya a hard time. It's my job.
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So busted. Edit: Wait...you're now a moderator for the NGD...how does that work when you drop an impermissable word?
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Wow. I hadn't even noticed the filters had been taken off. Guess I'll really have to watch myself. Else I'll be cursing up a storm and getting my butt kicked.
  17. Re: The cranky thread Yay! Niceness. And uber cool that they sent someone to teach you how to drive it. That had to have felt like a sweet little bonus. My dad taught me how to drive my manual Honda Civic. In about 2 hours, I had it down. Drove home from the parking lot we went to, but killed it pulling into the driveway. Oh well, ya live and learn.
  18. Re: The cranky thread Bleh. This is going to be the week from hell for me. I leave for my wonderful week-long vacation. However, today is the last day of the month...which means billing is going to take a huge chunk of my time today and tomorrow for both companies. In the mean-time, I have a bunch of check stubs that need to be matched with invoices. Now, I could always give the customer check stubs to the receptionist to match up...which, actually might be a good idea. Perhaps I'll give her half of them. And work on the other half myself. We'll see. Anywho. I'm not looking forward to how busy I'm going to be this week trying to clean off my desk before I leave on vacation for a week. So many things I need to look into and get cleaned up. >_< Work sucks. Especially when you decide to take a full week off.
  19. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Life. It bites. And Bush...wow...what can I say. Heard on the news tonight that he was "aware" of American Idol. I'm adding to this now by saying he didn't know exactly what it was? Interesting. I suppose our good old prez is just to far in the pits of war to take a look around and be knowledgeable about what is going on in his own country. Sure...American Idol is just some contest where people compete for a recording deal. But, it's HUGE!! I don't watch it. However, I could still tell ya who was voted off the show last night. Bleh. that is all on my musings.
  20. Re: Jokes Lol. Cute. I like it. And I got nothing. Sorry.
  21. Re: Complicate the Person Above L. Marcus was the first person brave enough (perhaps gullible enough) to go along with my invention of streaking.
  22. Re: Complicate the Person Above SK is the one investigating the case of the Streaker.
