  1. One of my player characters is playing a Martial Artist whose background involves various ninja clans. He is now renegade and has his clan among his hunted disads. My question to the hero population at large is: I want to have (at times) hordes of ninjas as antagonists/adversaries in my game. (okay thats not really a question) How many points should I build them from? The hero group is built on standard cost. How many points should I build each ninja on? I'm thinking at least a hundred. I want them to be cannon fodder, but enough that the group of heroes has to take a gang of them seriously.

  2. Re: If Healing was a flavor: HERO = Vanilla

Or the wounding in Hero is just like the SFX on its powers. Healing is left broad for a reason, so that the player can define his power as he sees fit. Damage is the same way. You took so much stun or Bod damage *GM does some quick mental calculations* that means you have a cut here, bruise here, dislocated there, yadda yadda.

Yes, that oil painting foundation is looking to be phenominal! I can't wait to see the intricate magical energies you have envisioned. I enjoy the clothes on the central figure, they seem apropriate to the character you are tryingto portray.

88 pages? Wow, that's more than I'd've figured. Let's see... I've run 12 adventures (some running multiple sessions), so about 7-8 pages per adventure. I guess I'm a long-winded cuss, huh? :o

Glad you're enjoying the recaps! There won't be one this week 'cause we were playtesting a Legion of Heroes demo game. Regular recaps should resume next week. :)

    Bill.

So sad! Updates so good.

  5. Re: Batman's home city is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, not Gotham City, New Jersey

"Yes," Doctor Arcane replied. "Vampires, demons, and other such things exist. There are also magical gateways that are formed at a weakening in the barriers between ours and Hell's. There are known as Hellmouths. The nearest is in Cleveland."

ROFLOL!!!! Thats great! I'd rep you but I have to spread some around before I do that. Secondly, you tied Batman and Pittsburgh into Buffy??????? I admire your continuity. I dislike the Buffy.

So who's gonna tackle the Hulk? Best fullback ever!

One problem with Hulk as your fullback. Unless you plan on running sweeps every play, your O-line is going to have to open a hole big enough for the hulk to get through first. All opposing defenses have to do is clog the line so that the hulk can't get through without injuring his own team mates and they've shut down your running game.

Edit: Reed Richards is your Hulk stopper. He simply wraps himself around the green machine's legs and you have a no go.

Bullseye already signed a contract to pitch for the Yankees. (Hey' date=' money talks.)[/quote']

Still doesn't mean he wouldn't be the best quarterback ever. The only way you could stop him would be to get people like the flash and quicksilver in there to try and sack him before he coudl throw. As long as he had time, you'd never stop him. Get him to work on his play faking and he'd be nigh unstoppable.

Okay, you'd have to eliminate flight as well.

Edit: I hope you meant NFL type football, not soccer. Otherwise I'm all whacked on my analysis. Soccer is still cool, just requires a different mindset for me.

I dunno that you change the rules of the game. I think you would have to include a proviso for not allowing certain powers to be used in the game. Force fields and powers that have a visible ranged effect would be illegal obviously.

Best Quarter back: Marvel Comic's Bullseye villain. Get him back there and you'd have one heck of a passing attack no matter who the receiver was.
