  2. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Madame Peacock Background: Baroness Victoria Peacock is one of the last living heirs to Peacock Castle in England. The other being Vironica Peacock, Victoria's cousin, who's also known as the super-villainess Tiara. The two cousins have always been rivals dating back to when they both were little children. They're also both mutants. Victoria's powers are extra-sensory in nature. She's able to occassionaly get insights of what is going to happen in the future. Victoria first became involved in the super-hero world when a man named Grant Thurman came to her and asked her to look into his furture. She did as he asked, and saw that Grant would become a great hero. Later, Grant became the super-hero known as Crownguard, protector the royal family. Meanwhile, Victoria never really took her powers seriously. All that changed on a spring morning when she was out walking in Hyde Park in London. While on her walk she was attacked by a large dog-like creature. Her mutant powers were able to warn her of the impending attack by the super-villain mutant known as the Hound, who's in the employee of her Vironica. Being forwarned Victoria was able to make an escape. Back at Castle Peacock, which Vironica coveted as much as Victoria, a vison came upon Victoria. Looking into the future, Victoria was able to see that her cousin was going to form a super-villain group, which Vironica called the Elite. In her vision, she saw her cousin as well as the Hound amoung others. Victoria could also see that the Elite would eventually attempt to take over the kingdom. She then felt honor bound to oppose the plans of her cousin, and the only way to do that was to form a super-hero group of her own. Victoria searched all over England for super-heroes who'd stand with her. These heroes were to be known as the Realmsmen. As for Victoria, she would be their leader, and took on the code-name: Madame Peacock. Quote: "The mysteries of the future are vague to some, but not to me." Personality Victoria is a dedicated member of the British aristocracy. She acts as the guardian of English interests. Victoria has had a strong moral upbringing, so she would never willingly take another persons life. Her one weakness is a nagging fear of enclosed places, which was due to her cousin Vironica locking her in a broom cupboard when she was six. Powers/Tactics Victoria is a mutant with the ability to occasionally catch glimpse of possilbes futures. This ability isn't foolproof, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Whenver, she uses the power, a nimbus shaped like a peacocks tail forms behind her. Because of her precognitive abiliteis, Victoria is very sensitve to danger to herseld, and sometimes to the area around her. Due to the attack on her by the Hound, Victoria now wears reinforced clothes, and when expecting combat will carry a staff with her for defense. Victoria isn't much of a hand-to-hand combatante; her powers aren't geared in that direction. As heir to the Peacock fortune, Victoria has control of Peacock Castle, which the Realmsmen uses as a base. Appearance Victoria is a petite redheaded lady with sparkling green eyes. She stands arout 5'4" tallk and weigh about 120 lbs. Victoria is quite beautiful, but not vain like her cousin Vironica. She doesn't normally wear a costume, but wears clothes that are fashionable. However, due to the nature of her work, all of her clothes have been reinforced.

  9. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Cherry Blossom Background Dead. Everyone in Kayoko's life were dead. Her brothers, sisters, mothers, and father all dead. The oni that haunted and hunted her family had struck again. Once every gerneration or so a terible oni would strike the Takabe ninja clan killing everyone except for one. Kayoko turned out to be that lone survivor. That nihgt Kayoko sowre an oath over the mangled bodies of her family that she would avenge their deaths on the demon who had killed them all. It was a long a difficult search for the killer, but eventually Kayoko tracked the monster down and had it cornered. In their final exchange of clows Kayoko got really lucky as she cut the demons' head clean off. However, the one was also able to tear a long gash in Kayoko's shoulder. Kayoko was the victor, at least as far as she thought. It came as a great suprise to the ninja girl that the oni lived still. The oni offered Kayoko great powers in return for her giving its' head back. Against her better judgement, Kayoko did agree to give the monster it's head back. The oni promptly returend its' head to its proper place atop its' shoulders. While the oni didg grant Kayoko some powers, it still fled from her saying that one day it would return for her head. The monster laughed manically as it fled. Once again Kayoko has taken up her quest to finish the one. She has also since joined the Eight Headed Monster Gang in the hopes that with the aid of the other members of the gang she'll finally destroy the monster who slew her entire family, but until that day Kayoko has taken the name Cherry Blossom. Quote "I offer up my life for your defeat." Personality The death of her family has maky Kayoko very depressed and moody. It doesn't take much to make Kayoko sad. Kayoko often sees the futility in everyday life. Life has become a comsic joke to the ninja girl. Kayoko still seeks to slay the oni that killed her entire family. This is probably the only thing that drives her. Loosing that would mostly likely cause Kayoko to give up on life itself, and as such ending hers. Powers/Tactics Kayoko is a ninja who has gained a few magical powers form the one that she hunts. The main ability she gained is the ability to shrink down to an extremely small size, but maintain the same physical abilities as if she were still of normal height. While shrunk, Kayoko also has the ability to leap over great distances with eash. The oni also gave Kayoko super-human agility and speed. Kayoko has given up on using her families ninja-to, prefering to use shurikens which she can throw faster than the eye can follow. Naturally, as a ninja girl, Kayoko is a master of ninjutsu. Like a typical ninja girl, Kayoko likes to use hit and run tactics. With her shrinking powers coupled with her ninja skills; it's almost impossilbe to find her. To get away from a conflict, Kayoko typically uses her leaping ability to make her escape. Appearance Kayoko wears a typcial ninja nighsuit for a costume that is all in black. On the right breast of her ninja nightsuit is the mon of her ninja clas, a cherry blossom. To hide her identity, Kayoko wears a black silk scarf that covers the lower half of her face. Otherwise, Kayoko is a young Japanese girl who stand 5'3" tall and weighs about 80 lbs. Kayoko is a rather cute girl, but seems to have an aura of great sadness around her. When not hunting the oni Kayoko typically posess as a university student. On her back is an ugly scar where the oni raked her with its' claws.

  17. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Earthquake Background Earthquake, no one knows his real name, once was a professional wrestler in Japan. There is little htat is actually known about his past, and Earthquake doesn't talk about it. Earthquake was known, however, for ending a number of professional wrestlers careers. However, Earthquakes star fell when he was identified as a mutant. Earthquake was banned from competion for life. He ended his career by sending the wrestling promoter who banned him to the hospital with a broken skull. The police tried to arrest Earthquake, but he proved too powerful for them, and disapeared into the Toyko underworld. To support himself, Earthquake joined a motorcycle gang, and quickly took over. The motorcycle gange made their living by extorting money from local merchants. However, because Earthquake was a mutant, his existance soon came to the attention of Octopus. Octopus offered Earthquake the chance to join the Eight Headed Monster Gang. Seeing that his life with the motorcycle gang was going nowhere Earthquake agreed. Earthquake revels in the destruction he causes. Now Earthquake gets to beat up on super-heroes instead of wimp professional wrestlers. Quote: "I feel an Earthquake coming on!" Personality Earthquake is a very violent person. He likes to brawl and bust people up. The only time Earthquake truly gets angry is if he were to actually be hurt in a fight. Earthquake believes that he's unbeatable when it comes to brawling and goes into any fight feeling that he can't lose. This has been his undoing at times. Also Earthquake has to be restrained by other members of the Eight Headed Monster Gang when Earthquake goes into one of his rages. Earthquake is also known for his mean streak. Powers/Tactics Earthquake is a mutant whose flesh is a lot denser than the average person. This added density gives Earthquake super-human strength and resistance to physical harm. His flesh is so dense that Earthquake can easily take a lethal blow and get right back up for some more. Earthquake can take a lot of punishment. His body will also heal itself over a short period of time. The density of Eaerthquake's flesh make it difficult for his foes to find a weakness in his defenses. Earthquake has learned how to jam his fingers into wall creating cracks, which allows him to climb walls with ease. Even though Earthquake is a rather heavy individual his training in professional wrestling makes him extremely agile. Earthquake is an expert at acrobatics and tumbling. Earthquake is usually very direct in a fight. He's a trained brawler, who'll use every tacktic in the book to win. Usually Earthquake like to fight one-on-one if possible. Against fast or flying foes he'll puck up something large and throw it at them. He hates to leave any fight wen any of his foes are still standing. One of Earthquake's favorite moves is to grab his foes and crush them with a massive bear hug. If possible, Earthquake likes to also get his foe on the ground so that he can stomp them into paste. Earthquake is also a good actor and can fake being hurt to lure in a foe to be pounded into pulp. Appearance Earthquake is a large beefy individual. He stans 6'3" tall, but weighs close to two tons. Earthquake wearas a costume typical to a Japanes professional wrestler. It is mostly blue in color with white lines running all over it. His boot and gloves are white as well. Earthquake wears a wrestlers hood over his face, even though he doesn't maintain a secret identity. He has long black hair with he keeps in a topknot that come out of the back of his hood.
  18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Ronin Background Yamawaki Miyoko once was a hightly respected member of the Japanese Secret Service. Mijoko was responsible for the elimination of several spies who tried to steal secrets from Japan. However, all of her sucess proved to be her undoing. Miyoko was a serious believer in the safety and traditions of Japan, being from a long line of honorable samurai. It was her beliefs and background that brought her to the secret service. In the end her downfall came through the acts of her new superior in the secret service. Her superior had no respect for Miyoko's skill or position as an agent for the secret service. To him, Miyoko was just a mere woman, not worthy of being a part of the secret service. Eventually Miyoko was forced to kill him for that insult, as tradition would've demanded. After killing her superior, Miyoko set about to commit suicide, agains as tradition would've demanded. However, as she was about to plunge her sword into her body Octopus showed up and using his powers prevented Miyoko from taking her life. Needless to say, Miyoko didn't appriciate the interuption and a battle between her and Octopus ensued. All during the battle, Octopus kept talking and talking. Eventually he was able to convince Miyoko to stop fighting and instead join the Eight Headed Monster Gang. Since then Miyoko has gone by the title of Ronin, an outcast samurai. As a member of the Eight HEaded Monster Gang, Miyoko often acts as the hand and ears of the Nomura Yakuza Clan. Quote "Though I am not worthy of fighting you, I will try my best." Personality: Miyoko has become extremely loyal to Octopus, almost treating him as if he were her new lord. There isn't anything that Miyoko wouldn't do for Octopus. This includes assassination. Also Miyoko feels compelled to avenge any insult to herself or Octopus, usually with her katana, as honor and tradition would dictate. However, Miyoko feels that the killing of her former superior has in a way made her unworthy. As Miyoko thinks that she is an outcast not fit for civilized company. While not exactly a loner, Miyoko does keep herself apart from the other members of the Eight Headed Monster Gang. Powers/Tactics Miyoko is an excellent swordswoman. She has trained with her katan for years. Miyoko wields a katana with a blade that was designed to fit into a variety of sheathes to disguise itself; as a walking stick, umbrella, or even a flute. However, once Miyoko draws her katana it becomes obvious that it is a weapon. Miyoko also wears a specially designed suit of light weight body armor under clothes. This body armor was designed especially for her by the Technician. Miyoko makes an extremly good spy. Her yearrs of training allow her to look like almost anyone else, as long as they're Asian. Miyoko can infiltrate the tightest security with some measure of skill. In a battle Miyoko prefers to fight one-on-one. Miyoko will go out of her way to make sure that Octopus is out of harms way before she lets loose. With her training, it's easy for Miyoko to man an escape unknown. Appearance Miyoko stands about 5'3" tall and weighs around 130 lbs. She normally keeps her hair short, but often wears wigs as disguises, and has almond eyes. Miyoko is a very attractive Japanese woman. She's a master of disguise, and uses this ability to keep her identity a secret. Miyoko has even been known to disguise herself as a man. She wields a unique katana that fits a number of different sheathes so as to diguise the weapons as well. Under her clothes, Miyoko wears a suit of light weight body armor for protection. Miyoko has a certain warriors bearing to her that can sometimes betray her. When not in her Ronin guise, Miyoko maintains the fiction that she's a traveling artist.
  19. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Technician Background Kojima Junzo is a successful engineer working for an electronics company that is secretly owned by the Nomura yakuza clan. Junzo was unaware at the time that the company was owned by yakuza. He also has a serious gambling problem. At times Junzo would win big and then loose it all over again. Finally Junzo was reduced to stealing company secrets and selling them to cover his gambling debts. A yakuza legbreaker paid Junzo a visit and gave him a broken arm to remind him to pay his debts. This seemed to fix Junzo's gambling problem for awhile. However, a few years later Junzo was again stealing secrets. The same yakuza came to see Junzo. This time, however, Junzo was fready for the yakuza. Junzo had built himself a survivor suit and a power engeryg weapon. He wable to send the yakuza to the hospital with some serious wounds. This defeat of the yakuza was what brought Junzo to the attention of hte leader of the Nomura yakuza clan. Seeing how normal yakuza would be unable to deal with Junzo, the leader of the clan sent Ocotpus to teach this upstart a leason. Octopus quickly came and attack Junzo in h is laboratory. However, Junzo was able to hold his own against Octopus. This impressed Ocotpus a whole lot. Their fight ended in a draw with neither one holding the upper hand. Octopus offered Junzo the chance to join his group the Eight Headed Monster Gang. Junzo was only to happy to joion the gang, if only to get the Nomura clan off of his back. He now goes by the code-name: Technician. As Technician, Junzo is trying to make a name for himself as the greatest gadgeteer in the world. Quote: "You call that an attack? Wait and see what this baby will do." Personality: Junzo is a jerk. He likes to see how far he can push a person before they break and get really upset. Junzo also has a gambling problem. He never knows when to quit. His gambling problem is what made him into a super-villain. As a scientist Junzo has a real passion for making things, usually weapons. Junzo spends most of his time, when not gambling, making some new weapon or device. He thinks he's the greatest inventor of all time. Junzo has had an ongoing rivialry for years with Professor over who is the better gadgeteer. Powers/Tactics Junzo wears an advanced survivor suit which he designed and built. The surivivor suit protects the wearer from a variety of enviromental hazards, it even has its own built-in air supply. In addition to the visor of the surivivor suit is polarized and provides Junzo with some protection from flash attacks. The suit is also reinforced and protects Junzo from most attacks, even thos that are leathal. Besides his surivivor suit, which Junzo always wears when he's acting as the Technician, Junzo always will have some kind of gadget or weapon on him. Junzo is always working on a new device or weapon in his laboratory, and is considered a leading expert in the field of electronics. In a fight, Junzo is usually very direct. Junzo will open up with one of his biggest weapons until he runs our of ammo. Usually Junzo has at least a one shot device on him that will teleport him away when forced to retreat. Naturally Junzo doesn't work well with others. Appearance Junzo wears a survivor suit for a costume. The suit covers his entire body. While wearing the survivor suit, it is completely sealed. The suit itself is a yellowish orange color whiles the visor is green. Junzo is a short Japanese man with long dark hair that looks like it has never seen a comb and brown eyes. He also wears horn rimmed glasses. When not wearing his survivor suit Junzo dresses like a typical scientist.
  20. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Kuei Background Once Honda Eiichi was a much feared yakuza. For hears Eiichi terroized businessmen and fellow criminals all over Tokyo. That was until the day that Eiichi was ambushed by a rival gang. After the other yakuza were done with Eiichi there wasn't enough left of him for a proper identifications of his remains. Eiichi was buried in an unmarked shallow grave by his killers. Two months later his kuei, or vengeful spirit, arose from the grave. As a kuei, Eiichi started searching throughout Jpan looking for his killers. This has gone on for the past three years. Unfortunately for Eiichi, he's starting to forget who his killers were. This has made Eiichi very desperate. After sending another of his killers to Hell, Eiichi was confronted by Octopus. It was Octopus who identified Eiichi as a kuei. Eiichi spent the entire night telling Octopus how he met his end and of his quest to avenge himself on his killers. Octopus offered to make Eiichi a deal. In exchange from Eiichi joing the Eight Headed Monster Gang, Octopus would assist Eiichi in tracking down his killers. Eiich agress to Octopuses request and became member of the gang. Now Eiichi is now known as Kuei by the yakuza. Octopus was able to track down Kuei after a series of unusual murder that were committed all over Tokyo. All of the victims were yakuza, but none from the Nomura yakuza clan. However, the persons committing the murders had no memory of committing the crimes. Octopus thought athat this was unusual and started to track the murders. His dilligence paid off when Octopus talked to a Shinto priest about spirit creatures, then it was only a matter of time to find out who was really responsible for the murders. Quote "I may only rest when all of my killers are in Hell." Personality Eiichi was a driven criminal. It was his ambition that done him in. Now as a kuei, Eiichi has become obssessed with getting revenge on his muderers. Eiichi is unable to rest at peace until he kills them all. Unfrotunately, Eiichi has slowly started to forget about his past. Eiichis is no longer sure of the faces of his killers. This often drives Eiichi to distraction at times. Because Eiichi has become a spirit creature, Eiichi has gained an abhorance to bright light. Bright light is painful to Kuei, but really doesn't cause him any actual harm. Eiichi avoid brightly lighted areas whenver possible. Powers/Tactics Eiichi has become a kuei or vengeful spirit creature, after he was murdered. As a spirit creatre Eiichi has little actual contact with the physical world. Normally Eiichi is completely immaterial; attacks that aren't magical or mental in nature pass completely through him causing Eiichi no harm at all. Also as kuei, Eiichi is normally invisible to the naked eye, only visible to those who're able to see spirit creatures. His most frightening power is his ability to possess somone. While possesssing his victim, Eiichi actually inhabits the body taking complete control. Eiichi can remain inside his victims so long has his endurance lasts or if a priest were to exocise him. Using his power of possession, Eiichi has taken revenge on a number of yakuza. As a spirit creature Eiichi isn't affected by the physical world around him. Eiichi is effectively immortal until he is laid to rest. Like most spirit creatures Eiichi is able to fly to a degree. Eiichi isn't much of a fighter. Being a spirit creature, Eiichi can't actually touch anyone, nor can anyone touch him either. Only by possessing someone can Eiichi actually enter a fight. Eiichi works best when he possesses someone like an innocent bystander. He often usis this tactic to help the other members of the EIght Headed Monster Gange make a getaway. It's easy for Eiichi to make an escape; al he has to do is free his victim from his possession. Appearance Outside of a physical body, Eiichi is completely invisible and totally immaterial. Those who can actually see him, Eiichi looks like a transparent man with short hair and a look of sheer rage on his face. Eiichi's eyes have a reddis tint to them. When actually possessing someone, Eiichi could be almost anyone, male or female.
  21. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Jade Background Hama Setsuko is a geologist working for the Japanses Gelogical Survey agency. One day while exploring a cave near Tokyo, Setsuko came upon an illegal toxic waste dump. Setsuko was overcome by the fumes from the toxins and passed out. She awoke later a few miles away from the cave without knowing how she had gotten there, and all of her clothing was torn. Setsuko went home and took a long soak in the bath. While bathing Setsuko hit her head on the rim of the tub. Pain exploded in her head, but that was quickly forgotten because Setsuko watched in amazement as her skin turned from her normal flesh tone into something that looked a lot like jade. Quickly getting out of the bathtub Setsuko rushed over to a mirror. Looking into the mirror Setsuko saw that her entire body had turned to jade. With some efforts and some deep calming breathes Setsuko was able to reutrn to her normal form. After a lot of practive, Setsuko was able to change back and forth between the two forms. Setsuko was thrilled with the changes in her. Setsuko spoke to a yakuza friend of hers and through him eventually met Octopus. After speaking with Octopus and explaining her stand on pollution, Octopus inited Setsuko to join the Eight Headed Monster Gang. As a member fo the gang, Setsuko has sought out the company that was responsible for the toxic waste that mutated her; eventually putting them out of business with the assistance of the gang. After that Setusko has been fighting pollutioners and aiding the Eight Headed Monster Gang as the super-villainess known as Jade. Quote "I'm not as fragile as I look." Personality Setsuko gets a real thrill out of using her powers. In her altered forms Setsuko thinks that she's completely invulnerable and often takes needless risks. Her major foes are those who pollute Japan. Setsuko will go to great lengths to make pollutioners pay. Sometimes Setsuko will drag the other members of the Eight Headed Monster Gang into one of her crusades against pollutioners, of times against their own will. Setsuko makes no distinction between yakuza pollutioners and civilian pollutioners. If a yakuza decides to pollute then they'll have to have to deal with an angery Setsuko, because it is when Setsuko is fighting pollutioners that she has a tendency to loose it. People usually end up in the hospital when Setsuko is angry. Powers/Tactics Setsuko is a mutated woman who with a little concentration isa ble to replace through unknown meand her normal flesh with a similar type of organic material that looks like jade. In the altered state, Setsuko becomes suepr-humanly strong and fast. Setsuko becomes resistant to physical harm, even able to ignore certain amounts of physical damage. Her altered form protects her from many environmental hazards and even provides Setsuko with some self-healing. Because of an increase in weight, it becomes more difficult to move Setsuko when she doesn't want to be moved. Lastly since her eyes aren't really flesh when Setsuko is in her altered form, it does provide her some protection from flash attacks. Setsuko likes to make wild attacks while in combat. At times she'll make running dive into her foes, knowning that it is usually hard for her to actually be harmed by such a move. Normally Setsuko is a good team player, except when pollutioners are involved. That's when Setsuko has a tendency to loose it and people get really hurt. There are only a few members of the Eight Headed Monster Gang that can restrain Setsuko when she cuts loose. Appearance For a costume, Setsuko wears a white leotard that was designed by the Technician to stretch when Setsuko transforms into her altered state. On her feet she wears matching slippers. A small belt goes around her waist. When Setsuko becomes Jade all of her flesh takes on a jade-like appearance. Setsuko looks like a jade statue come to life. Normally Setsuko is a Japanese woman who stands 5'5" tall and weighs 93 lbs. However, in her altered form, Setsuko grows to six feet in height and weighs in over 300 lbs. Where is extra height and mass comes from is unknown. Otherwise Setsuko is an average looking woman who likes to keep her raven black hair short. Setsuko is able to keep her identity secret because the vast differences between her two states. Setsuko still works wore the Japanes Geological Survery agency, but has become more and more of an activist against pollution.

  24. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Steelwind Background Samura Maehata is a ninja won once belonged to the same ninja clan as Sleeve and Darkstar. Both Darkstar and Maehata who was known as Steelwind often clashed over their affections for Sleeve. All three were young at the time, and Sleeve seemed to really enjoy playing one ninja off of the other. Usually their duels ended when one or the other was knocked out. The victor of duel was given the honor of a date with Sleeve. To the loser, he got to nurse his own bruises. However, it was during a particular duel, when Darkstar accidently slipped on the mat that Steelwind in a pique of rage put out Darkstar's left eye with his ninja-to. This incident was immediately brought to the attention of the clan elders, who weren't amused. After a lot of deliberation and debate it was decided that Sleeve must been the cause for the accident. Sleeve of course protested her innocents. To the clan elders this was a sure since of the ninja girl's guilt. As punishment Sleeve was stripped on her clan privileges, and exiled to Hong Kong. This decision did not sit well with Darkstar. And eventually he left the clan all together. Steelwind was as pleased as could be. His main rival was finally gone; his only regret was the Sleeve was no longer there to bask in his greatness. Later it was learned that Sleeve had actually betrayed the clan. She had joined with a Chinese woman who was calling herself Dragon Lady. This was an insult the clan elders could not accept. The elders were still angered with Maehata, and as such they sent him to Hong Kong to eliminate the traitorous Sleeve. It was easy for Maehata to track down the traitor in Hong Kong. Was he not the greatest ninja the world had known? Maehata had the ninja girl cornered, but out of nowhere the other super-powered members of Golden Triangle came pouring out of the woodwork. Femme Fatale and he crossed blades, and while he easily drove her off, a slug from the Commander's pistol certainly got his attention. With a bullet wound in his shoulder, Maehata gave up on capturing Sleeve and returned to Japans. Needless to say the clan elders weren't happy. First Sleeve caused Maehata to wound Darkstar in the eyes, then Sleeve betrayed the clan, then Darkstar left the clan, and finally Maehata failed. It was all to much for the clan elders. Maehata was exiled from the clan, never to return upon pain of death. For the next few years, Maehata traveled a lot. Going from place to place. Where ever he went he challenged martial artists to duels. However, none of them seemed to hold the skill of his former rival Darkstar. It was while Maehata was in San Diego following up on a report about a ninja clan when Maehata ran into Proportions late at night outside of a nightclub. Proportions was spoiling for a fight, and Maehata was glad to give him on. This was the first time Maehata had ever encountered a super-powered opponent. He was greatly impressed with Proportions strength and raw power. And it isn't easy to impress Maehata. Proportions for his side of it was astonished by Maehata's skill and agility. During the entire fight, Proportions was never able to lay a hand on the wily ninja. Both were greatly exhausted when the fight was over. Maehata and Proportions were both panting from the fight. Sirens were sounding in the background. During the fight both had destroyed several cars, and uprooted many telephone poles. It was Proportions who offered to bring Maehata back to the Aggressors latest hide out to meet the others. Back at the Aggressors hide out, Maehata met with Mentello and Centipede. While Maehata was not impressed with the mechanical armor of Centipede, he was impressed with Mentello's abilities. Mentello offered Maehata a membership in the Aggressors. Maehata decided that the Aggressors would make a perfect vehicle to find the path of the perfect warrior, so he gladly joined. As for the clan elders, they raged against another betrayal, and placed a sizable bounty on their foolish ninja. Personality Maehata is a perfectionist in an almost obsessive way. To him there can be no warrior greater than him. Proportions while is a great fighter, is nothing but a mere brawler according to Maehata. Other so-called martial artist much be challenged to prove once and for all how great Maehata is. At times Maehata may appear as one who's philosophical, however, this is nothing more than a facade. Against those who don't meet his strict measurements, Maehata holds them with the utmost contempt. The only ones he really respects are his former rival and Sleeve. All other just haven't measured up. Of course the other members of the Aggressors are at least extended a little courtesy from Maehata, but not much. As such Maehata always comes across as a very arrogant man. Like most ninja, Maehata has little or no respect for live. To him killing is actually an art form, and Maehata is surely an artist of the greatest type. As such Maehata will take down an opponent with his ninja-to and beyond to the next without a backward glance. Quote "I know that I am the greatest warrior in the world. However, I don't know about you." Powers Maehata has no real super-powers per se. However, his ninja training allows him to move faster than what most would think possible. He naturally can run really fast when he needs to. His training also makes his senses very sharp. Maehata can sense danger around him at times. Maehata has armed himself with throwing stars, which he can unleash rapidly. But his favorite weapon is his treasured ninja-to. With his ninja-to Maehata can cause horrible wounds. He has even learned a maneuver which he calls his "Death Strike" where he finds a weapon spot in his opponents defenses and plunges his ninja-to to the hilt. To protect himself from super-hero attacks, Maehata has had his ninja night-suit specially treated with chemicals to protect him just like armor, but more flexible. Even without his throwing stars or his ninja-to, Maehata is a master of ninjutsu. Maehata can easily disable a foe using that alone. Like all ninja's Maehata is a master of stealth, tracking, and disguise. Often times it's hard for heroes to know who exactly Maehata is. Appearance Maehata doesn't look much like a typical super-villian. For a costume, Maehata wears a traditional ninja night-suit which totally hides his face, except for his cold eyes. When not in his Steelwind guise, Maehata typically wears clothing like that of a Japanese businessman along with sunglasses to hide his contempt. Otherwise Maehata goes out of his way to not draw attention to himself, as this would be dangerous.
  25. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Proportions Background Billy Lee Johnson once was a professional boxer from Atlanta who was down on his luck. He was losing fights, even against boxers that he could usually beat. Billy Lee was starting to get worried that his career might be over at the age of twenty. Once after loosing a humiliating fight against an up and coming boxer Billy Lee went on a drinking tour of all the bar in the city. Dawn found him stumbling down the streets drunk. He knew he must be hallucinating when he walked through a wall, or that for a while he was towering over the city in a drunken haze. Eventually Billy Lee found his way home. Billy remembered the sound of construction workers outside his house the next day. For some reason there was a lot new pot holes in the road around his house. With a yawn, Billy Lee went down to the gym to work out, giving no thought to what had happened last night. Since that drunken night things for Billy Lee had changed dramatically. His worthless manager finally paid off for him getting him a match with another famous boxer. This was going to be a major fight for Billy Lee. And he won. After that Billy Lee kept on winning. It didn't even seem unusual to Billy Lee that all of his opponents were sent to the hospital after their bouts. One of them even died of massive trauma. Billy Lee was quickly going up the ranks, and was becoming quite famous. Eventually Billy Lee was given the opportunity to fight against the heavy weight champion in a casino in Atlantic City. Billy Lee was really psyched about the bout. He had his game face on and was really concentrating. Things were going really well, when all hell broke loose. Before he knew what was happened Billy Lee started growing, and growing until he was a giant. The roof of the arena was destroyed by his growth. People started screaming, and the next thing Billy Lee knew he was the size an ant. Billy Lee fearing that he would be stepped on instantly returned to his normal height but was transparent as a ghost. This scared the champ, who took a swing at Billy Lee. Before Billy Lee knew what was happening he was now as a hard as a rock. The champ broke his hand on Bill Lee's face. The match was over and Billy Lee was disqualified for using his meta-powers. Furthermore the boxing commission banned him from boxing for the rest of his life. People started to turn their backs on Billy Lee. With no where else to turn to, Billy Lee turned to crime. His first big crime was when he went to rob the cash box at another major boxing match in Atlantic City. Before robbing the cash box, Billy Lee, who was calling himself Proportions, was going to enter the ring and beat both boxers into the ground. They never had a chance against him. Unfortunately for Proportions, Mentello and Centipede were robbing the casino as well. When Proportions realized what was going on the other two villains had made their getaway. Proportions tracked them down and was going to get revenge on them, when Mentello surprised him by offering him half of the loot and suggested that the three of them might make a great team. It was Proportions who suggested the name of the team; the Aggressors. Since that night, Proportions has gone on to be the strong man for the Aggressors. Personality Billy Lee has always been a very aggressive man; this is one of the reasons he became a professional boxer, to deal with his aggressive nature. Nothing has really changed since becoming Proportions. As Proportions, Billy Lee is always looking out for a good fight. When Billy Lee started winning his boxing matches he really enjoyed all the fame and the money he was getting. It all went straight to his head. Since becoming Proportions, his thirst for wealth and fame has increased dramatically. Proportions thinks that being a member of the Aggressors will get him the things he deserves. Pity the super-hero who gets in way. Now that Billy Lee has super powers; Proportions thinks nothing can harm him. This has been his undoing at times. Proportions likes to showboat his powers, and gloat when his foes are down. Quote "So who wants a piece of me?" Powers Proportions is a man with the meta-gene that allows him complete control of his size and density. Through unknown means Proportions is able to add a lot of mass to his body or take that same mass away. Also Proportions can increase or decrease his size. Proportions can take so much mass away that he becomes virtually immaterial. When Proportions adds on height or mass, he becomes super-humanly strong, and when shrunk difficult to hit. Proportions is unable to combine his powers, thus he's unable to shrink and add on mass. In addition to his size/mass powers, Proportions has the skills of a professional boxer. Coupled with his met-gene enhanced powers this makes him a deadly foe. In a fight, Proportions likes to make a dramatic entrance. He also likes to primarily fight foes one on one using his boxing skills. However, Proportions has been known to pick up objects and throw then at his foes. Proportions isn't about using his shrinking and desolidification powers to unnerve his foes. To get away from a fight, Proportions will either shrink to his smallest size or become totally immaterial. Appearance When Proportions uses his growth powers he grows to the height and weight of a giant, or can shrink down to the size of a gnat; barely noticeable. Or Proportions can add or subtract from his mass becoming infinitely heavy or practically immaterial. At his normal size, Billy Lee is a muscular bald black man. For a costume, Billy Lee wears a pair of red boxing shorts, along with white boots. He also likes to tape up his arms up to his elbows. Proportion doesn't wear boxing gloves. Due to his dramatic change in the boxing ring, it would be difficult for Billy Lee to maintains a secret identity.
