death tribble used to run a roller skate training school in Glasgow. Then the skateboard craze along, followed by rollerblades and he just gave it all up. As I recall he sold the school to a Bolivian hemp dealer and invested the resulting cash in a Rumanian discotech glitter ball manufacturing company.

Of course, Quest For Fire was originally named Quest For Burgers, with Darbor to play the heroic role. Of course, as with all things Hollywood the script kept getting changed, he was kept waiting and waiting and then droped. Oddly enough, the original unmodied screenplay became the first Harold & Kumar film, but by then Darbor had moved on.

During the writers strike Mister E wrote a TV pilot plot that he called "Luv in the Mud". It was about a pair of WWE wrestlers down and out on Fraggle Rock. Amazingly, nobody but the FOX network was interested.

In his youth, tkdguy used to spend Sunday's playing Monopoly with Randolph Hearst, both Getty's and a few of the Rothschild clan. He says it has given him a greater appreciation for the differences between a tin boot and a racing car.

Of course, it was death tribble who named happy hour 'Happy Hour'. It had been originally named "Gulp 3 cheap beers and two slices of stale pepperoni pizza hour", but it just wasn't working.

Darbor used to be an advertising copy writer for a wig manufacturers. It was when he recommended that the company branch out into hair pieces for animals that it all went wrong. Of course, the prose he'd written for bewigging bald pussy-cats and putting fur back on beavers are things of legend in the advertising world.

Darbor was once caught speeding on a pogostick. Apparently he went past a school at 55 and cops chased him through two states.

During the Great Mexican Pinata shortage, Darbor had a high paying job as a stunt pinata. He'd go to parties where a real pinata was raised, the kids given sticks and then, just before the first blow was struck, Darbor took its place. He left this job when his employers changed his medical covering to a local HMO.
