Before anyone asks I tried posting this over on the question board but I kept getting a Error. So I am posting it over here. Sorry for the Newbie questions first off. I did some practise runs of Fighting. Just doing Normal Damage, no Killing Damage. 1) Attacking 11 + Attackers's OCV - Defenders DCV. To hit or miss 2) I am suppose to add up all the forms of Defense. A) This is anything that adds to PD or ED. 3) Subtract the character total defense from the Stun Damage. A) 6d6 attack did 24 damage and your PD is 5. You would take 19 Stun Damage? 4) Subtract the character total defense from the Body Damage. A) For the damage above I had rolled a 4's on the 6d6. I would do 1 Body damage? 5) Quick answer on Recovery. Thaxs Again for Clearing all this up. The questions actually cleared up as I was typing them but I want to make sure.

Ok I need to know how to transfer some of my old characters to Hero Champions. These Characters are not from Hero. Its actually from my old TSR RPG(Classic Version). Yes I am that old since I got that in '83. Also what are some Characters that are Equal to some of the more DC or Marvel counterparts. IF we cant have links to real DC or Marvel Characters. I just want to get a gauge of my characters in the Hero Universe.

Re: Creating Our Own World Personally I have my own Super Hero World all made up. (You can see it in my web comic http//globaldefenseforce.com .) The hard part for me is switching my characters over to the Hero System. My main Character is already over 2000 points. Am I doing something wrong here. LOL My friend has a completely redone FANTASY setting. With his own races and magic and such. I told him about the ability to create your own world in Hero. He is psyched to see this game in action this weekend. Even though I don't get the Fantasy Book until MONDAY.

OK everyone groan. I think I got a handle on most of the rules. I am gonna ask some jsut to make sure. My questions. 1) Endurance Cost of Power? For every 10 points spent on a power its 1 endurance point right? 2) Block only effects one person. 3) SKills cost is 3 character points +1 to roll per +2 points. (I can spend 2 more points to increase the roll Number?) 4) Whats a good starting point value for a starting group. I was thining 300. 5) What does Defensive Strike and Offensive Strike do in Martial Arts? 6) What is this Half Phase Actions? How do I know what are Half Phase Actions and what are not? 7) Why doesnt my link show up in my Signature line? 8) Why are there so many Cool Smilies here?

Re: 'So wait, how do I hold this thing?' Since I just got the Book yesterday (Saturday). I started by reading it on the bed. Got unconfortable. Went to the THRONE! Went back to the bed. Finally went to the coach and read it there while the wife watched Big Brother. I just went through and read the Major parts. Still got to learn it all. Which i probable will start asking lots of questions either today or tomarrow.
