Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I have betaed CoH, CoV, Asheron's Call, Earth and Beyond (Knew that was gonna be sucky), Dark Age of Camelot and Several Warlords Games. So I have had lots of experience and know how to look for bugs. Actually, right now I am not even looking at how the powers work (balance). I am just looking for odd things that arent suppose to happen. Found a big one last night. When it becomes more fun then I look at the balance part.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Yeah there are a very few people that are from beta that didnt get invited to CoV Beta and I don't know why. I know 8 people that were in CoH Beta and still playing and every one of them is in CoV Beta. One of the people said there was one person that he knew that didnt get in from CoH beta but everyone else he knew got in. Thats why I didnt say it was a for sure thing. :D For the most case its like 99% chance if you were in CoH Beta your now in CoV Beta. Oh and I still havent installed my CoV Preorder Beta Disc. Hmmm, I wonder why. LOL

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game If you played in beta of CoH and still play. You pretty much are in beta. There is some randomiztion to it but there are also some things that werent randomized. My CoV forum number is 277 and my CoH forum number is 11,000's. (I wish I would of got to keep the original forum number it was in the 1,000's.)

Re: WWYCD-Hurricane Katrina Its just like comics using 9/11 as a real event. Marvel did this didnt they? If its a big enough event (Volcano, Tidal Wave, Earthquake) and all of us are adult enough. Why not have it as part of our imagination.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I have a couple low levels on Justice also. I think for 3 days that was our original server for my Super Group but we decided to switch to a less populated server.

Re: WWYCD-Hurricane Katrina Manchine would help with the evacuation and medical support. He could easily look for survivors due to his scanners. Sonic Soldier would be leading the relief teams. With him leading the troops and restoring order to the area. Animal Teen would be able to locate and rescue people. With his enhanced senses and strength nothing would slow him down.

Which can be seen at my Webcomic. http://globaldefenseforce.com/ Its pretty much a Year or so after this all happens. So I can adjust minor things in the Campaign. For example I have the backing of the United Nations for the GDF. I don't know if I will be doing this in my webcomic or not.

Re: WWYCD: Attraction Loop Animal Teen, who is a normal 18 year old teenager would love this. Since he is attracted to pretty much any pretty girl. The problem would be since he already releases a pheromone that makes women attracted to him. This might be to much for the women. Think of a Riot. He would have to try and figure out what the heck is going on. Manchine and Seige, who have just started to be in a relationship. Wouldn't know what to think and possible wouldnt see anything until things went to far. Which then would cause them to wonder if it was effect that made them like each other or if they really did.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game You will never get rid of all the bugs. Those bug really dont come till later. Even playtesting for a very long time you will always have a change in the game later on.

Ok I have been trying to make Manchine up in Hero Format. One of his Main powers is his Force Field. This Force Field isnt like other Force Fields. Its more of a graivty shield. It pretty much spreads an attack out on a subatomic scale. Unless its very powerful. It also can create a Solid regular Force Field. The last thing is the Force Field can be expanded outward but it gets weaker the farther it goes out. I want it to remain circular around him. I just don't know how to write it up. List of things it can do. Force Field 1) Increase DCV 2) Force Field 3) Expand outward but get weaker farther it goes. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... I got one that happened a while back. My friend played a dumb character that was the whole background to him. He was dumb. Well anytime anything new happens he has to roll to see what he does. Well he fails it. Guys are shooting at him and he's invuln to it. He looks down and says. "PRETTY FLOWER" He starts picking flowers. Several rounds of failing it (3). He finally gets into action. With a handful of flowers. Same guy different situation. They have to sneak into a base. They make it easily into the Security Room and see that the big Dumb guy won't be able to sneak around. "So they say stay here and watch us on the TV screens. Just don't touch buttons. Ok lets make our way to the red door." They leave he fails his roll again. Just barely misses the roll. I write him a note. You remember "Stay here and watch us on the TV Screens. Just touch the Red Button. When we make our way to the Door." So the group makes it to the first door and he hits the red button. Alarms go off. :D LOL

Re: Is there any originality left in comics? That is pretty much it. Even on TV its all been done. Its pretty much the same shows with different characters. (Which is one of the reasons why I love survivor and big brother. You just never know what people are gonna do.) The real question is. What is that character/group gonna do? Which is why we always wanna find out what is gonna happen next time.

No biggie (though I;m going to eventually slip up and call you 'Munchie' eventually. You know that, right? ) And I can dig the car-wreck. Back when I was still racing scrambles, I took an ariel header into a tree-- blown pupils, the whole nine yards. Since then, I 've had a difficult time fixing eactly 'how long ago' something was (and am now a furious note taker!) and I've been told by everyone in my family that I'm a much nicer version of the person I was before the wreck. Go figure. And always wear your helmet! I wasn't knocking your spelling or anything else with that post; I was lamenting the loss of a different time...... Now, about the rest of that comic...... People on other sites and on City of Heroes call me Munchie. So I am actually use to it. :D As for the Rest of the Pics http://globaldefenseforce.com/comic4/PG3.jpg just change the PG3.jpg to PG4, etc. It goes up to 20. When you switch to comic 5 just put comic5/PG1.jpg.

Re: Is there any originality left in comics? I actually have a really good excuse for not being able to spell. 7 Years ago (come January) I was involved in a Bad Car accident. I rolled my car several times on the express way. Needless to say when I awoke from a 3 day coma. I had no memory. It took about 2 months before I remembered anything. The doctors said I would probable never remember all my experiences in life. I have about 60% (I think) back in my memory. The funny thing was 9 1/2 months after my car accident. I Married my wife. Most of what I remembered is I knew I loved her. I only had about 25% of my memory there.

Re: Multipower With that answer from Ura-Maru now. I think I got it. Other then the one question about hovering. (What happens if I want my guy to just hover in place and shoot. Would that be considered Flight 1active point. Flametongue would be 12D6-1 or something along those line?)

Re: Multipower Ok I think I got it. 1) The points can't be above the Multipower points. 2) The Cost is 1/10 of the power of the Multipower. 3) It can be any level of power but it cant go above the points you use for the Multipower. 4) You can't have Of the same Multipower going at the same time? (This is a question LOL) (For example Flame Man wants Fiery Body but wants to throw a Fire Ball. He cant right?) 5) Can you put Energy Blast (flame) and have one of the multipower power be Flight?

Re: Is there any originality left in comics? Yeah my Editor isnt perfect. I am not the greatest at figuring out all those different Your, you're, there, their, and they're out. You can easily tell the difference from my first issue writing to my last issue. It has gotten better over time. Just the flow of the story seems better in Issue 4 and what I have done in Issue 5. My comic does not follow City of Heroes Story. I just use the engine and some of the characters for my Pics. This is my own world I even use it in the Hero Campaign. There is no DC/Marvel (those are comics) characters. I have my own orginal characters. All my characters (except Seige) have been around for 10+ years from when I use to play Marvel RPG (Classic Version). Animal Teen was my very first character I made up in January of 1984. (I got the game for my B-Day on Dec 28th 1983). Sonic Soldier and White Knight was a friend of mines Character that was made up at the same time. (Their powers and background have changed since then.) Within the Year although Manchine was born.

Can someone please explain to me about Multipower. I have read this section several times and I am just not getting it. I even had my friend read it over and he didnt get it either. Who is that Big GREEN Lizard looking guy over to the left? Under the policies.
