  2. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... "Rodney?"
  3. Re: Creepy Pics. Take another look. Just realized myself - there are THREE bodies there. Three torsos, anyhow. One on the table, two on the floor - one partially over the other.
  4. Re: Jokes Kewl. Sounds to me like Prof Brindley is a definite contender for these lists: http://www.cracked.com/article_19521_6-most-badass-self-inflicted-medical-experiments.html http://www.cracked.com/article_16301_the-6-most-badass-stunts-ever-pulled-in-name-science.html
  5. Re: "Neat" Pictures Ghods, but I hate Monday rush hour.
  6. Re: Creepy Pics. Always figured it had to happen sooner or later. That Ken dude was no damn good for her at all.
  7. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... No good can come of this.
  8. Re: Destroy Your Geek Cred!! ... And let's not get started about how most deities feel about that whole Pon Farr thing.
  9. Re: "Neat" Pictures Oboy. The inset at bottom right has me thinking of the caption - "Cap'n! The cauldron canna take muh more o' this!!!"
  10. Re: Destroy Your Geek Cred!! I don't use or have any interest in Facebook or Twitter (noting that this one seems to have cropped up a lot here). I like all of the Trek series. Yes, all of them. Never watched ANY Doctor Who. Ever. Nothing against the show or its fans, just the way things turned out. I think "old" BSG was infinitely better than nuBSG. Yes, the former was incredibly cheezy, but the latter was ... I won't say it. I think H Beam Piper was one of SF's greatest writers, but so far haven't read any of his 'Fuzzy' books / stories (which arguably are what he is most famous for). There are a lot of SF "classics" that I haven't read. I don't ####ing care if Han shot first, last or anywhere in between. I thought Neelix was an okay-ish character, and my feelings about Jar Jar Binks were strictly neutral. I think Stanley Kubrick was grossly overrated as a moviemaker. Totally uninterested in LARPing. I liked the 'League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen' movie, but never read the comic. Zero interest in Undead-related entertainment (except for some of the stuff where Milla Jovovich or Kate Beckinsale kick ass). White Wolf games make good firelighters. Have neither watched nor read nor played A Game Of Thrones.
  11. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Brilliant! Would SO Rep ya if I could.
  12. Re: "Neat" Pictures "My ghod. It's full of d6s.... "
  13. Re: "Neat" Pictures Me, I'd go with a 'Fat Man' ( http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fat_Man_%28Fallout_3%29 ). If the Balrog gets up after THAT, you know you have problems.
  14. Re: "Neat" Pictures I'm guessing, in that pic, Merry is hiding under / behind the improbably long cloak that Eowyn is dragging around. Enough room there to hide a Hobbit or two, easy.
  15. Re: "Neat" Pictures OK, that one threw me for a couple of minutes, but I eventually got it. So, what do I win?
  16. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Given McGinty's progress in CoC, I expect that his WH40K descendants will be people that the Ruinous Powers try to avoid and don't like talking about.
  17. Re: Creepy Pics. Maybe he's a Simpson.
  18. Re: "Neat" Pictures OK, a few of those guys I don't know. But, going by all the guys there that I DO know ......
