  1. And, as a Doctor Strange style mansion, I would like the mansion itself to be "alive", and have the mansion be its own body. Able to sense and control itself.
  2. Thanks I used that one as a starting point. I am hoping to find even more to use which has even more mechanics. And I am not even sure I know what I mean by that. But it seems to me that a Doctor Strange style mansion would have... more?
  3. More of the Doctor Strange spooky type. Thanks!
  4. Anyone have a lead on a Magical Base / Sanctum I could use? Thanks!
  5. Thanks Steve for your answer to this question. One more for you? Potions: If LOS needs to be maintained on constant powers with an attack roll, when the creator of a potion gives the potion to another character to use as a one-shot use, who must maintain LOS? The creator of the potion, or the character who quaff's the potion? Example: Potion of Fire Spitting, Ranged Explosion, Continuing for a few phases/spittings, Trigger = Quaffing the Potion. If the creator is 'back home' and the one using the potion is in combat somewhere else, does the potion work? Thanks again! DC
  6. Hi, What if the power used is beneficial? For example: A Constant Aid, with the Ranged advantage? There is an attack roll even for a friendly target. What if the target flies out of LOS? Compare this to: That Ranged advantage is not selected, and the Constant Aid is used on a willing target? Does LOS need to be maintained? What if that target flies out of sight? How about Darkness. Already Constant. If a character wants to make it more difficult for other characters chasing him to continue the chase, or to slow said chase down, he casts Darkness on a room the chasers must pass through. The character then continues running away and turns around a corner into a hallway. Does he have to re-cast Darkness each time he turns a corner into a new hallway? Already have to buy Constant for any Instant powers in these and other cases. Is buying 1 long-lasting Continuous Charge the only way to deal with the Line of Sight issue? In either of the above examples? Thanks for your help!
  7. This is the first time making a Hero Character since 4th Edition. I have missed playing this game. Anyway, one problem I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around, It is totally understandable that, when comparing, say, Ralph, with SPD 2 and Jane, with SPD 4, that Jane spends more END in a Turn than Ralph if both are actively physically attacking Joe Evil, or actively using a Blast, against Joe, etc. Ralph and Jane are both doing something active, both causing new damage to Joe each phase on which they act, etc. But with constant powers, it seems off to me that Jane has to spend more END per turn than Ralph. If both Ralph and Jane sit on their arses, holding up, say an area of Darkness, why is Jane paying more END per turn? And if I am right that she does, is there a way around this without Jane paying more character points, since she already had to pay more for the higher SPD? Thanks! DC
