Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine
regrettably I know that its from the movie Heatherswhich apparently many people found entertaining.
It's true, I saw Sawyer the cleaner and that is the first thing that came to mind, quote and all.

Sawyer the Cleaner
Veronica is that you? You realize Heather's already dead you can't actually #^#% her gently with a chainsaw.

Re: Will there be a feature added to CO to allow your toon to played in the tabletop
If I remember correctly the plan was to include conversion rules in the Champions setting book. Although, this export feature sounds super sexy.

Re: Villain Theme Teams
Early on in Metahumans Rising I put the team up against HAAD (Humans Against Altered Dictatorships) mostly shock troops but they had one powered armored villain working with them called Cure who used inhibitor collars to shut down super powers.

Re: Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique
Hand to Hand Killing attack with either an NND (Inhuman biology) or AVLD (Hardened Armor) with Does Body. When building it I'd make sure that an average roll would be enough to do at least 15 body or so. So maybe: HKA 4d6 NND Does Body costly but it gets the job done.

Re: What do you really think of Champions Online?
Cox is more comic book looking, CO is more Cartoon looking.......CO still....HAS gotten a touch more interesting lately.....It's got me from Meh......to Meh +1.~Rex
Does that add 1 to both your attack and Damage with Meh?

Re: Make Your Own Motivational Poster
And it is a non-zero number? It was like a +20 to hit or something.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Hero System isn't the only system with a rep:
Last time I checked GURPS had a range modifier for 1/10th of an inch. You know, you could still totally miss and stuff.

Re: Teen superhumans but no adult ones
Makes me think of control. Often minors are taken into custody for their own "good" with little recourse to their wishes. The young can also be more easily manipulated. On the plus side' date=' there should be plently of supervillians and powerfully groups to hunt you.[/quote']I was thinking along these same lines. As teens you can institute government control easier if people don't know, this isn't right or that there are other options playing on the child ignorance and dependence on a parent. At the same time you have those rebellious teens and this might be where the story is at, pulled from different sides the government, possibly other groups that want to control them these are the teens that ran away. Their number much lower they ca nmore easily find each other than the average runaway to for effectively a super group. More so stories can range from conspiracy to romance and survival. Also if you have time to establish friends in their non-powered life these can make some great lingering doubts about their past lives or possibly enemies of circumstance,

Re: THE Grim Reaper
Didn't he have a watch' date=' lent from the Incarnation of Time, that could pause time for short periods so he could consider the deceased?[/quote']I think so. It's been a while since I read the series.
-
Re: THE Grim Reaper
"He" would probably also need some kind of time manipulation ability' date=' to make him able to spend adequate time at the scene of every death...[/quote']In the Incarnations of Immortality the way death got around that is he only showed up for those where it wasn't clear where they should be going after dying.

Multiple Desolids Versus attacks like Real Weapons and Transforms
Possibly a major damage reduction along with something absurd like 666 Stun.
Psychological Limitation: Must accept a challenge by the recently deceased to a game.
Healing: Resurrection Limited: May only be used on those who beat the Reaper at a game.
PS: Monopoly 21- (Okay that should be games of chance)

Re: Campaign Idea: Superhuman Bounty Hunters?
I view them more as law-abiding metahumans who just want to get paid for busting the bad guys.If you're good at something never do it for free.
-
Re: Campaign Idea: Superhuman Bounty Hunters?
Could be interesting but when you start talking about money I'm not sure hero is the right term. Seems like a decent set up for a darker game where the characters tactics and morals might be questionable. They've got power, they want money, but they aren't willing to go on the run so they work around the system.

Re: Natural Disasters: Giant Monsters Awaken!
As the city was torn and divided a hissing echoed through the streets. Malformed a tar oozed out into the air as if the earth itself had been turned over to pour its own filth out into space. Spreading with an unholy speed the tar covered the sky blotting out the sun. Day turned to night, and a cold swept down from the high mountains of a frozen hell as the light was snuffed out in inky pitch.
The sounds of terror cried out from the primordial tar. Faces, hands all groping from inside the mass unable to break free. The bellows continued to pump darkness into the sky. It's weight too great now it began to fall consuming all that it touched in pillars illuminated by what feeble electrical light remained.

Re: When Powers vanish
The icon may have been drug off the tool bar by accident. If you pull up the power menu (P) you should be able to drag the power back in to the tray. Hope that helps.

Yep, still active here too.

Re: Worst Hero Names (of your campaigns)
I had a villain gadgeteer named Thingamabob. He was a dumpy, middle aged shmuck wearing overalls. The nametag on his chest read "Robert".But I can't forget the Spirit of '76. Of course he was referring to 1976.
Did he look like David Cassidy?

Re: Worst Hero Names (of your campaigns)
I played in a game where the GM's girlfriend decided to play a telepath named PROBE. You can imagine how long it took for the jokes to go south.Much like that one?

Re: Worst Hero Names (of your campaigns)
One of the NPC heroes we fought alongside in my last table top game was named The Tongue who's entire body mass was made up of a muscle with the density and strength of a giant tongue. He wasn't the most attractive character (his pores constantly excreting saliva) and we were forced to restrain the rather sophomoric jokes when we found out he was gay.
This was from the same GM who brought us Bovine Fury the all bovine villain group led by Veal Genius.

I was so hoping it was a Heathers reference.
