  1. Not in my country unfortunately. I am the only Hero System GM I have ever met here since Markdoc moved away back in the 80s. But I take it not in print now - at least I cannot see it in the online store.
  2. Hi all I have hardback copies of the 6th ed Vol1 and 2 books - Was wondering if there are any other 6e hardback books - specifically Fantasy Hero. Cheers Brian
  3. Hi Mark

Just checking if you are still alive. I think I am but that has yet to be confirmed by a second opinion.

Planning on yet another Sengoku game - this time using Savage Worlds.

    Cheers

  4. Of course. Weren't we all. Just glad to see you are still alive and well Mark. I am about to run another edition of the old Sengoku campaign with a new group. Looking forward to it. Brian.
  5. Ah that makes sense. He was always a bit of a 'well f you too then' even back in the day when we were young. I will try to contact him via where I think he works.
  6. I am an old gaming mate of markdoc's from as far back as 1980. Looks like he dropped out of this forum a few years ago. Cheers WWG
  7. I have always read locations 3-5 (Head) as 3 Face, 4 Neck and 5 skull. How do you read it?
  8. I have not run a Hero System campaign in a long time. Been playing Harnmaster and D&D 5e. I have every edition of Champions/Hero System and in discussion with my friends we have decided we were happiest with 4th Ed and are returning to a high fantasy campaign using that rule set. Now to re-familiarize myself with the intricacies of the system. Cheers Brian
  9. I played in one game where we started with 25pt characters. It all works. When I ran Harn I used 100pt characters plus up to 30pts of disads.
  10. We had one character who named his sword "Nutsplitter" on account of the number of 13s he rolled. Another samurai archer character in our Sengoku game once hit five guys in a row in the 13s. It adds something to fireside chats about old games that "You remember when Pete's Akiro character hit five guys in the lower torso in a row" just doesn't manage to do.
  11. I have flirted with 6th but have decided to settle on 5th Ed. It is close enough to 4th that I don't have to make any changes to the reams of material I already have.
