  1. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central Sweeper: School's been pretty busy for me lately, but I'm on reading week now, so I ought to have the character built in a few days. Please start without me and insert me when you have a good moment to do so.
  2. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central I'm sorry about my continued delays, school is pretty stressful for me right. I may not be able to join as soon as you'd like to start, but if you're willing to take a late player, that might be best.
  3. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central I would guess probably I'm about a week from completion, with my world-building project, and school, and work. If you're interested in the world-building project (it's a blog, I'm looking for readers), please, let me know so I can send you a link!
  4. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central Having received no answer , I'm just going to go ahead and build at the Low-Powered Super Hero level, 150 + 100max. Floop has 70 pts in Disads, so I'll have a total 220 pt character.
  5. Re: WWYCD Fantasy HERO Edition #1: The Princess Shell Game My roguish hero knows all about con games. The ball is in the con man's hand the whole time.
  6. Re: B-movie inspiration Wait, Dragonheart is considered to be a B-Movie? I loved that movie!
  7. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central Either way for me. I'm not really familiar with how the depression hit Chicago (I'm Canadian, give me a break!), so whatever works is fine by me. Again, I ask about the points, though, for character-building.
  8. Inspired by this thread, where the OP and I would likely very much disagree, how would I go about using the game rules to encourage KO over Killing in a Fantasy style campaign. Many monsters are simply ravenous and killing is good for them, but many antagonists don't need to die, they simply need to be knocked out and moved past. Without going for a Superheroic style, how do I encourage my PCs to smack heads rather than slice them in half?
  9. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central I'll start building. It'll probably take a few days, what with school and all. Did we decide on a point level?
  10. Re: Capaign Theme: The Chase That'll be awhile, I'm not actually running until the fall.
  11. Re: New Pulp Hero Game on Hero Central I'd be interested, but not in running it, I have enough on my plate with school already.
