<Standard apology if this is in the wrong place> I'm working on putting a Tron game together. Thinking mid-level heroic. Any ideas about how to build guard or handle disc combat? Has anyone tried to do something like this before?
-Thanks!-

Legion is possibly the best show I've ever seen.

Hello.
Totally new to Hero. I've had a copy of the Danger International boxset scored at a Half Price Books on my shelf for years and just now started to dig into it. Came from primarily d20 gaming, have a healthy collection of GURPS, and am now going down the rabbit hole of Hero.
How did you come up with your 'handle' (forum name)?
Its a play on words from a lyric of a song from the Pixies
What was the first tabletop RPG you GMed?
Star Wars d6. Then Top Secret/S.I. (mom was too scared of D&D to allow that satanic crap in our house)
What was the first tabletop RPG you Played?
TSR Marvel
What are you currently Playing/GMing?
In a strongly devoted d20 group playing Pathfinder.
When did you start to play Hero?
I have yet to start. Looking at it as maybe the home system for my family.

You're in for a treat! Easily one of my top 3 favorite recent comedies. (The other two being Cobra Kai on YouTube Red and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon.)

I have all of the Avatar Airbender series on my shelf. Consumer vote. That is maybe the finest kids show ever made in my opinion.
The next series - Legend of Korra was just as good.

Hi Jeffrywith1e,
Thank you for joining us. You live in the Twin Cities... Cool so do I. We should get together sometime.

Mad Max : Fury Road. I wish I had seen this earlier or at the cinema.
None of us will ever be as cool as having our own rock concert follow us into battle cool.

My wife and I started watching the original Avatar: The Last Airbender over the weekend. Only three seasons, we got through one and a half, seeing what all the fuss is about. Very high quality kids show, clearly created by people who love wuxia and martial arts. I probably wouldn't watch it all if it was just up to me... it is pretty juvenile... but I can recognize high quality animation, characters, and story telling, even if I'm not the target audience.
Interestingly, it is only available if you can find a service that streams Nickelodeon. And the format is still 2007 era, SD. Supposedly the entire series (and the sequel Legend of Korra) are being released in June on remastered Blu-Ray... so that should look really nice, and maybe they will start to show up on more easily accessible streaming services like Netflix or Amazon.
