Re: Justiciar is up
While I agree with Sapphire from among the heroines (essentially Jennifer Lopez with superpowers)' date=' I think [b']Cateran[/b] might be a better choice from the villainesses -- big, strong, swings a sword, and wears the world's shortest kilt.OTOH it's hard not to notice Howler's, um, assets for the job in her existing costume.
True. I was thinking Lady Blue because she is a more "grey" or borderline villian.
And if one were looking for something a little darker, Scorpia would also be a good choice.
(* - B.T.W., what I was meaning by "personality" is a very extroverted (and a little vain) female character. Witchcraft is certainly qualified for the "Marketing Babe," but her disposition and demeanor would be all wrong. )

Re: Justiciar is up
Considering the travesty that is their track record thus far' date=' Sapphire, Witchcraft, and the other ladies would probably be better off if these clowns never touch them. [/quote']I disagree. Champions Online needs their "Obligatory Marketing Babe!" (Virtually every Computer Game has one! Most P&P RPGs do to!)
Of the Iconics from the Champions Universe, I think that Sapphire (of the Heroines) or Lady Blue (of the Villanesses) would have the right personality*.
(* - While some feel that "personality" is not realy important for the "Obligatory Marketing Babe," my persoanl experiance is that it helps a lot over the long term life of the product.)

Re: The Guitar Hero
You need to make sure you have a Hunted by SONY on 8- unless you have some contract with them already.

Re: Black Widow (250 Points)
I forgot about the clinging.Don't all superheroine costumes have that power? . . . oh! You mean to walls!

Re: Do you have any "deal brekers" when it comes 6th edition?
If it is printed on bologna.Depending on the Meats used, for me that could be a selling point!

Re: Champions Online Wallpapers
I am going to hold out for some Heroines.

Re: The most unbelievable trope in the superhero genre...
Rob Liefeld and Mark Millar keep getting work.I cannot give Badger enough REP for this truism.
(The problem is that for all of our hatred, Marvel's Civil War sold fairly well. )

Re: The most unbelievable trope in the superhero genre...
Arguably' date=' though, 7of9 was not wearing spandex, but several layers of advanced costuming made to mimic what spandex looks like when drawn on unrealistic bodies. [/quote']But that too has become a genre trope, hasn't it?
-
Re: The most unbelievable trope in the superhero genre...
...to me' date=' is not:[/quote']You didn't list "Spandex"!
And if you really think that the typical Superheroine (or Superhero for that matter) costume is either practical or comfortable, check out Jeri Ryan's comments on the subject.

Re: More books on Master Villains
Just wondering -- since HG has books coming out that will cover Doctor Destroyer and Mechanon in greater depth (I hope we get a map and write up of Javangari, myself), if you could choose another master villain, or even just another villain, period, who could get a book-length write-up, who would you choose? And what would the title be?

Re: Susano vs Marvel characters
Susano from Masamune Shirow's Orion vs1] Thor
2] Sentry
3] The Hulk
4] Cable
5] Silver Surfer
6] Magneto
7] Dr. Strange (No prep)
8] Shuma-Gorath
9] Loki
10] Thanos (No prep)
11] Galactus
12] Dark Phoenix
If Joe Quesada is involved, . . . Susano would have them all defeated (all at once) before getting to his second recovery phase.

Re: Superman
I was thinking that the long time heroes' date=' Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, would be 350 while most other heroes and villains would be 250.[/quote']I might have gone in the other direction. Having the 350 being the "Starting" base for the character and then add some experience to reflect their time in the setting. (But not so much as to be gratuitous or to make the player's characters non-competative.)
This would allow some minor additions such as Batman's extra vehicles & batcave, etc.
(Were I running a DCU based campaign, that is how I would tend to use your excellent write ups.)

Re: Poor Taste?
I would like to play a character whose power is the ability to possess and animate a corpse. Yearning to be a hero' date=' he..."acquires" the remains of fallen heroes or villains and uses them to be super. My question(s): Is this character concept too insensitive and potentially insulting to the other players? Would you allow in this type of character in your (standard to moderately dark) superhero game? Thaks in advance for all comments and thoughts.[/quote']First and formost, ask the Game Master and other players for the campaign. If he/she would be okay with it then I would proceed.
As a GM, this concept is a little dark for a Traditional "Four Color" campaign, but with what you had described would fit in a Dark Superhero setting. Of course such a setting might want/need to deal with the "insensitivity" on a character level, but I doubt that it should upset the players.
