  1. Flamette- Concept sketch Another concept sketch.
  2. NileQueen- Concept sketch Here is a concept sketch of a villain called Nilequeen. I like to do a sketch of what the villain looks like before building one. I never did build her, but I liked the drawing.
  3. Sable the Huntress OK, you knew it was going to happen sooner or later- so for all you "furry" lovers out there: I present Sable the Huntress! She's a Martial Artist with a stick. Yeah... Don't mess with her!
  4. Scarlette Blaze, The This villain is perfect for the Silver Age games. Her name is The Scarlette Blaze. She is a speedster that has semi-controlled powers over friction. She creates a lot of static electricity too, which is why her hair sticks out the way it does (if it weren't for the mask, she'd have a 'fro!). Oh, yeah... feltpens over a template.
  5. Spirit I didn't really like how this one turned out. The "gold" feltpen was too yellow. One of the reasons I don't like working with feltpens is the limited colors. But it is faster than painting.
  6. Starburst Another acrylic painting over a well-known template. Kinda got that punk/showgirl thing going on, yes?
  7. Glory from Omega Force Here is my Brick from our Omega Force team. Her name is Glory. Done in feltpens. It was supposed to be red, but the pen was off, I think.
  8. Solaris again Here is another pic of Solaris. Done in feltpens.
  9. Solaris And the same template, with a different acrylic painting on top. This is Solaris.
  10. Emerald Here is another villain, painted in acrylic. You may recognize the template.
  11. Fuschia Fuschia is a very simplistic PC, very straightforward: An Energy blasting ground-pounder. (No, she is not weilding pom-poms, her EB is plasma beams, at that perfect temperature between red-hot and white-hot, hence the pink!). I created her in record time during a convention, which is why she is such a simple PC. Colored in feltpens.
  12. Contagion Contagion is a concept villain. I haven't built him yet. But I am posting this so you can see how I take a template and alter it to suit my needs. I liked the stance of this template, but I wanted the PC to have more muscle. You can see how I just increased his size by the outline. It's easy. I see this colored in browns, reds and sickly greens when its done.
  13. Ebony Ebony is a Martial Artist I created. Her costume is inspired by a miniature I own. Her MA style is Savate. I haven't colored the pic yet, its just done in ink right now.
  14. Rocker Ok, just for giggles, I thought I'd show you my very first Champions character! His name is Rocker. He is a stone golum, with full life support. Obviously a Brick. The big, "eighties" hair is a wig, super-glued to his head. LOL! Felt pen over the old Brick template. Enjoy!
  15. Dark Diment Here is a mentalist (villain) I ran my group into back in the old days. We started playing Champions when 4th Ed came out, by the way. I give you...... Dark Diment! This one was colored over a template also. I created a lot of templates, male and female, using other artists' work. It was a lot easier for people in my group to design their own characters' costumes this way.
  16. New scanner Well, I've been hanging on to all this art and not able to share it (except for with my own gaming group) until now. I love my new scanner! Unfortunately, after I scan in a pic, I usually need to clean it up because there are smudges and imperfections on the originals. Not to mention that I am blowing up the pics quite a bit- you know the older PC sheets don't give you a lot of room to draw with. I tend to go outside the lines and that means more to clean up. I am using Photoshup to do the "cleaning". I am not very practiced with it, even using a mouse with a roller on top. For art, I prefer working with paper. Wow, a lot of downloads on my pics so far! Is everyone liking the work I did? I hope so! Feedback, feedback! (Yeah, I know a lot of them were done long ago.) Cheers! Mags
  17. You are right I didn't create Riplash, but I often took published villains and altered them a bit so the people I gamed with would be surprised. So many characters.... it's hard to remember! Thanks for keeping me honest. Additionally, I enjoyed taking published black and white pics and coloring them. I did this a lot. You should see our shared enemies book from Fourth ed! Here is another villain, inspired by my brother. Her name is Brimstone. (I'm trying to keep the pics smaller!)
  18. Wildchild And another I did for my brother. This is Wildchild. Also in feltpens.
  19. Squire So can she draw men, you ask? I can and do, but since I run female PCs more often I have far more pics of my female characters. Here is a picture I drew for my brother. The name is Squire. Done in feltpens.
  20. Riplash This is a villain I made, back in the day. The apparatus on her arm has stretching and does a nasty 5d6 KA, electrical SF/X. Painted over a template in acrylics. In case you're wondering, I paint a lot of minatures, so painting on the PC sheets wasn't a difficult step up (at least the areas were larger).
  21. Aurora Here is Aurora. Her powers are a combination of light and magnetic, with special effects like the Aurora Borealus (so goes the theory). Colored pencils.
  22. Psylocke Keep in mind the original pic is less than 4" tall (fits on one of the old, Hero PC sheets). I apologize if its a litte fuzzy.
  23. Thanks Durnin! You are extremely helpful... you are my new favorite person! Heh! Just for you, I will post a picture I colored (I didn't draw this) of Psylocke. Painted in acrylics. Cheers! Mags
  24. Monsoon This character I ran for a very short time in a huge campaign that had some 19 players and 2 or 3 GMs running the game. It was crazy, so I didn't stick around for long. Her real name is Corral and she is an Aquarik. She is called Monsoon because of her control over water. The pic is done in acrylics:
  25. Second Pic. The second picture was after she was transformed in a game. Once she takes enough Body, she'll look like the first picture again. Here is the second pic of Magmarock, also done in acrylics:
