  1. Eternity Here is a Heromachine pic.
  2. Attempted and failed again... I don't think my "Print Scrn" is working at all. But I found the copy/paste function works in the Photoshop program. You know, I wouldn't mind printing the Heromachine pics to rescan, if only I could alter the size of of the pic before it hits the page. Such a waste of ink. Ah well. What do you think about these last two pics? Mags EDIT: Oh wait! It worked! I had to press "Ctrl" "Alt" and "Print Scrn" and then I copied into Photo shop. I'll post a pic after I crop it.
  3. Cybershock Another recent pic. Colored pencils.
  4. I'll try pasting... In the meantime, here's a pic I just finished. I colored it with Photoshop, then printed it out and inked some detail on it by hand before scanning it back into the computer. Mish-mash art. Heh.
  5. Thanks Thanks for the kind words about my art, guys. As for the other issue, I've been playing around some more with the Heromachine and I have tried all the various options suggested without any results. The closest I got was to check a box "Print to File" after I click on Print. This saves the webpage to a file, but then I can't figure out how to open it again (I have Adobe Photoshop & ImageReady , both 7.0 and Microsoft Paint for Windows 2000). Sadly, I don't know computers well enough to figure it out. Yes, I did read all the "Help" files and they don't address this problem. Maybe the problem is with settings on Microsoft Windows 2000? Hmmm. On the brightside, I can still use Heromachine for inspiration... Mags
  6. PDF is expensive to printout. I'll be waiting for "Shades of Black" to come out in print. I like to have the entire product in hand for reference during games. I subscribed to Digital Hero and have had the same problem with it. I doubt I'll resubscribe since I didn't get much use from last year's issues. If I owned a laptop, it might be a different story. Don't get me wrong, the content was great, but it's difficult for me to get it from the computer to my gaming table and, like I mentioned before, expensive to printout. Ultimately, I prefer printed material. Mags
  7. "I just do a simple Print-Screen which pastes the HM image to your clipboard, then I paste it into a standard Paint program. I cut the image from the rest of the capture, then paste that back on the Paint. Then save them as Bitmap's (which look better), but you have to post them here as Jpegs." -Starlord Yeah, I tried that and nothing happens. My computer is retarded, I think. Mags
  8. Chrome- Concept Sketch Seeing the other Chrome posted, reminded me of this one I did a while back. Just another concept sketch for a hero, inspired by the cover of one of the Cyberpunk books. Chrome: Pencil only, over a template.
  9. Hurricane from The Mutant File I really enjoy coloring other people's work, too. So you can imagine that all my Champions books are filled with color by now. *Big Grin* So I don't think it'll hurt to share a few, as long as I keep the sigs intact. Here is Hurricane from The Mutant File. (one of my favorite Hero System books!) This was drawn by Fredd Gorham, inked by Jeff Uryasz and colored by me.
  10. Wow... I am truly humbled! Starlord: You have a great eye for color and design. I really love the choices you made with the Heromachine program. I like to play around with that program too, but for some reason I cannot screen-capture the pics to show later on. I refuse to print them out as it's a major waste of ink (you know, just to scan them back into the comp again). Even so, I can still sketch it after I design it. I just haven't done that yet. Blue: Man, oh man! Did anyone ever tell you that you have a wonderful knack for catching atmosphere in your pics? You must work as an illistrator for a living... if you don't, you should! I love your stuff, guy! Awesome! Mags
  11. PDX Westside, actually. You from this area?
  12. Predator Just in case you ever decide to make a Predator villain (and who hasn't?), here's a pic I did a while back: Pen and ink.
  13. Speedball Hey, I ran across this old pic I did of Speedball. Pen and ink.
  14. Shadow Bird All right... I admit it, I am a copycat artist- If I'm looking at something, I can draw it. And it turns out to be a pretty fair semblance. You may remember seeing a picture like this in the Dragon magazine (I think it was Dragon) many years back. I have the miniature and thought this would be a great flying Brick/gladiator type PC. So I drew and painted this (about 4" tall) on my PC sheet, using acrylics. So here she is: Shadow Bird!
  15. Ally- Mark I This is Ally. Another one of my brother's many PCs. Alien MA who later got a different costume once he became a hero on Earth. Ink on posterboard.
  16. Lots of downloads... No feedback? What do you think? Are they too cartoony? Lines too thick? Body proportions off? Boring poses? Comments?
  17. Afterburner Here is another villain I used to strafe my players' PCs with. (Evil laugh)
  18. Coyotye Coyotye. 'Nuff said. Feltpens again.
  19. Elder Mystik And now for something completely different:
  20. Perhaps so... Thanks, Tim. It may seem like I've done a lot of work, but understand that this all was done over aprox. 13 years of gaming. I just wish I spent more time drawing! Then I'd have hundreds or thousands of pics to share instead of just these few. Yet I'm only posting the good stuff. I have a lot of awful, and I mean truly terrible, work too. Maybe I'll post one sometime, when I won't be too embarrassed over it. In the meantime, here's a couple doodles of Mags in action: She's fighting Yeti, by the way.
  21. Enigma OK. Last one for today. This is Enigma, a Mentalist. Done in feltpen.
  22. Mindscape This is Mindscape, a Mental Illusionist I ran a long time ago. (Word to the wise, never buy ALL your armor on an activation roll, or you, too, can have your head bit off by a huge demon!) Colored pencils.
  23. Miss Liberty This is Miss Liberty aka "The Thug of Justice" (Yeah, my gaming group likes to tease me sometimes... they dubbed her that). I modeled her off of the female Judge Dredd miniature I used for her. She's a real kick-ass MA.
  24. Miss Melee And the original Miss Melee before she joined a team and changed her costume colors. Feltpen on template.
  25. Miss Melee Whew! Sorry it took me so long to post a new one... I really had to clean this pic up before posting it. The picture was painted in acrylic and then I ruined it by giving it a maroon and dark gray background in feltpen (what was I thinking!). But thanks to the Adobe Photoshop I was able to erase the hideous background. So without further ado, here is Miss Melee: She's a Hand to Hand combatant, just in case you didn't know...
