In the case I mentioned, the cops thought this guy was breaking into his own house. When they asked him what he was doing, he turned around with his wallet in hand. I guess he thought he was being robbed. So they started blasting away. The doorframe held the victim up in the line of fire so he couldn't fall down. It might have looked like he was still trying to shoot. CES

Track like 50k calls in its radius I think, but if you don't have the number, the call you want just comes in like all the rest, so the machine is only good if you have a start up number. Surveillance and electronic intrusion is worthless until you have something as a starting point. Also read this and the Sword of Summer. I liked it, but have to agree that a lot of time was devoted on the entire cast with basic information put in about the setting. Now that I think about after reading your takes, there are a lot of elements I recognize from other writers/works going on that I didn't think about at the time. I did like the cat being his adopted kin's second. That was a funny bit with the certification in the middle of a lot of grim happenings. The Sword of Summer is another foray into Rick Riordan's myth series but focused on the Asgardians. Loki is the villain natch, and it seems he is doing evil while still chained to his rock. The hero is the cousin to Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson's books which ties things in with the rising of the titans and Gaea, and the Kanes battling Apophis. The Asgardians come across as living their lives while knowing their part of the world will be destroyed in the future which seems to be what Loki is trying to do to escape his rock. it is up to Magnus Chase and his allies to forestall that for as long as possible. The man known as the Smile makes use of a medicine mask to cause his enemies to laugh harmlessly as he moves among them. It also acts to disguise him as best it can to blend in against his enemies. CES

Watched Kundo- Village of Robin Hoods take on corrupt lords of the land. They are decimated when they take on Lord Joo, the land demon. CES

Steel Shield is the right guard. His power to create walls of metal serves to protect the QB while the rest do the rest of the robbery. Occasionally he acts as a ram to blast through the enemy's defenses. CES
