Tclynch
I KNOW I've seen it somewhere, but am unable to locate it. Anyone?
Lord Liaden
Re: Vampire Template If you mean free Web-accessible templates, there have certainly been quite a few "vampire templates" put up here and on the Internet. It's just a question of sifting through the material to find them. Here are a few I was able to locate without really grinding: Free sample template from the article "Angelina" in Digital Hero #6: http://web.archive.org/web/20051126085907/http://herogames.com/digitalHero/Samples/dh06angelina.htm Underworld movie-style vampire template: http://www.angelfire.com/scifi2/mathew/pavampire4.html "Buffyverse" vampire template 1: http://surbrook.devermore.net/adaptationsmovie/buffy/vampire.html "Buffyverse" vampire template 2: http://angel.fcpages.com/pavampire1.html "Charmed" - style vampire template: http://www.angelfire.com/scifi2/mathew/pavampire2.html "World of Darkness" vampire template: http://surbrook.devermore.net/whitewolf/WODvampire.html Palladium vampire template: http://www.angelfire.com/scifi2/mathew/pavampire3.html If you mean published examples, there are "lesser" and "greater" vampires listed in the HERO System Bestiary, in the section on the Undead. There's also a sampling of vampires from around the world in Digital Hero #28, in the article titled "Blood Brothers." I'll poke around a bit more and see what else I can find. DusterBoy
Re: Vampire Template Vampires weren't afraid of the sunlight until Murnau had Count Orlok disintegrate at sunrise at the end of the original "Nosferatu". Dracula himself was active during the daytime with no ill effect. Polish and Russian vampires were active from midday to midnight without fearing the dawn and the sun. Just, y'know, my 2 cents. (Although with this recession thing going on, that's probably worth less than it was)
