worldshaking00
Has this site ported over the 6e errata? I cannot seem to find it, and google referenced the old site's links. Thanks for the information and/or links.
Simon
No, it has not (yet).
thewomble
Where can I find the 6e errata?
Simon
Typically in the book itself. If you're after corrections, if it's a simple typo, then you know the correction already. If it's an ambiguity or misstatement of a rule, the search function on the forums is a good source. If that doesn't turn anything up, simply ask in either the 6th Edition Rules Questions forum (where Steve Long will answer) or in the Hero System Discussion forum (where everyone else will answer). thewomble
Thanks Simon, but I remember some documents that were previously available on the official site. As I recall there were a LOT of entries for the two core books. Would be nice to have access to this.
bigbywolfe
So was the errata file lost or is there some reason for not just putting it back up?
Simon
The latter.
thewomble
So, that was a "sorry, you guys just don't get to know the reasons for this stuff" type response, Simon. It comes across as condescending and rude. We're a small fan community here, there's no need to act like a faceless corporation with a very poor PR department. Simon
And yet here we are. You asked about errata. You were given a solution. It's not really a concern for me whether or not you want to go with that solution... It is what it is.
thewomble
And that folks is part of the reason the Hero fan base is shrinking...very sad to see.
Greywind
I'd like to point out with all the problems the board (and by extension Dan Simon, since it's his server from what I understand) that Dan was busy trying to keep the board alive. At any point in time, and from some of the responses he got in posts about those problems, he could have decided that the board wasn't worth his time and effort and just let it die, leaving the site purely as the Hero Games information and store site. Any responses from Dan, whether here, about the HD package, whatever, are on his time. Not the company's. If you don't like his answers, don't ask him questions. bigbywolfe
Let's try this again. Does anyone have a copy of the 6E errata that they wouldn't mind posting?I had it saved as a word document at one point, but that was on the work computer and long gone and I don't know if I still have my printed hard copy. Lord Liaden
Steve Long just posted the file in PDF to the Hero System Discussion sub-forum: http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/89416-6e-errata-file/
