  1. Funny enough Conroy, while he didn't do the stupid Bale growling thing, is the one who made having Batman and Bruce have separate voices be the standard.
  2. "Pay no attention, Fritz! We still have plenty of ham left?" "Yes, sir!" "Good! [lividly angry] Sandwiches for us, for the guests in the front room... [screaming] but not for the police! The police shall receive no sandwiches!"
  3. House of the Rising Sun is also interchangeable with both (and switching Amazing Grace with HotRS and vice versa both work surprisingly well). Much of Emily Dickinson's poetry is the right meter that it can be sung to Gilligans Island as well.
  4. I'm at the park often enough she knows me by sight and voice. Somedays we play tag, she'll chase me to one end, then I'll spin around she rears back and runs away. Other days she doesn't like eye contact because she wants to stalk. I use selfie mode on my phone to watch her try to be sneaky. I haven't been able to get a full pounce on video yet.
  5. The majestic tiger... Apparently even big cats make the "stink face".
  6. Adding dangling bits, extra weight, and heading over water seems like the worst possible way to learn to fly a drone..
  7. I thought I had an easy pick with one of my faves, Josie and the Pussycats, but it turns out it's at 52/53% on Rotten Tomatoes. So I'll throw out a movie that got so little notice it hasn't even achieved a rating on RT. 2003's Scorched. John Cleese, Woody Harrelson, Alicia Silverstone, and Rachel Leigh Cook combined couldn't save this flick from going straight to video and into obscurity, and I love the stupid thing.
  8. Fable is a great inspiration for this sort of thing. The first 2 story arcs are very solid and are both included in the premium hard cover graphic novel. The video game mentioned above is a Telltale Game called The Wolf Among Us and is a prequel to the comic series focused on Bigby (the Big Bad) Wolf, Fabletown's current sheriff.
  9. This is a file for exporting Characters made in the Hero Designer software into a RTF. You have to make a character in HD, export it to this file type, and then you will be able to open the character you made in Word.
  10. "Tell my tale to those who ask it. Tell it truly, the good and the bad, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence."
  11. My friends' daughters love Harley and Ivy
  12. Currently sitting at the front desk at Cray Inc. It's always a bit surreal for me when I run across references to Cray while at work.
  13. I thought the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon did a decent job with her origin. Obviously it didn't match the comics, but it involved the Kree and was a good shortcut to get to the character powered up and in play.
  14. Thanks to the help of neighbors, roommates, and the marvels of modern veterinary medicine I got to come home from work to a house entirely free of diarrhea for the first time since Thursday.
  15. Zoolander 2. What? Don't judge me. You wanna fight about it?
  16. That originated from a spoof site.
  17. Replace "toes" with "back" and I'll say "Me too".
  18. Been a long time since I've felt the need to block someone, but when you repeatedly insult someone and tell them to calm down when they weren't worked up until you insulted them... I just can't handle that kind of intentional jackassery anymore.
  19. You're the first person I've seen say they didn't like Ant Man. Most of my circle thought it was better than Iron Man 3 or Thor 2 and many liked it better than the Avengers movies.
  20. Some crazy vigilante beating up cops? Yeah, Jessica and Luke would both keep their heads down and avoid that mess altogether. I was under the impression Fisk was jailed prior to the start of Jessica Jones, but I guess they haven't explicitly stated when the two series occur in relation to each other.
  21. Why? It was just as much of a surprise when it was revealed in the comics, wasn't it? The origin of Hydra has changed multiple times and was one of Marvel's earliest retcons. It's entirely unreasonable to expect the MCU to spring fully formed into existence. The idea of wasting screen time in a movie to mention a plot twist that may never come up in a show that may have never been made is ridiculous.
