6e HTML Tasha's Ultimate Character Sheet 1.6

3 Screenshots

About This File

This character export sheet looks different than the plain black and white sheets. It is styled to match the colours of the rule books and is done in a fun highly legible style. It has the functionality of the default character sheet, but has the following differences:

Collates all combat information including Attack Powers, Defense Powers, Sensory Powers, Equipment and Martial Maneuvers in a special page block. Along with useful combat stats, combat values, combat modifiers, and hit locations tables.

Powers, Equipment, Talents, Martial Arts, Skills, Perks, and Complications are in a wider single column format.

Any notes you've included in the Hero Designer will be now be visible!

Respects any formating you've done to your powers or abilities. Numbered list titles and numbering.

Skills, abilities rolls, and Endurance costs clearly visible along the left hand side. Point costs on the right.

Split into 4 pages for cleaner printing.

The character image is on the 1st page with characteristics, personality, quotes, background and descriptive information. Now keeps line breaks!

Thank you to Thirtybird For the recent updates

1.6.0 - 2021-Jul-21
fixed invalid HTML tags on non-breaking spaces
Untangled page 4 tables for skills, talents, etc. to be all aligned on the IF/ENDIF checks for those sections
Gave more space for the cost and roll columns in all sections
Highlight Multipower pool/Name, and List names in all sections
Made Notes and character name style consistent across all sections/pages
Added global replace for 1/2 dice fraction to use HTML fractional tag (at very bottom of file)
Added "Combat Tactics" field to the top of page 2 making page 2 a complete combat detail

I made a minor change by changing the file name to the current Version. -Tasha

This character format really does what it sets out to do -- it replicates the look of the characters in the book. Clean, easy-to-read, and cool-looking, it emphasizes style without sacrificing substance. While best for superheroic characters, it will suit characters from any genre. I give it my highest rating -- 3 out of 10!

Hello, I gave this a try but the file format, HDE is one I'm unfamiliar with. I tried opening it with several different apps on my WIN 10 computer and could not do so. Can anyone suggest which application will open this file? Thanks.

It is an export format for the Hero Designer software. You put it in the Hero Designer directory, and when you have a character built in Hero Designer, from the dropdown menus you select Current Character/Export/Set Export Format. You select the above file. Then select Current Character/Export/Preview Character, which will then export the character in HTML which will automatically open in your browser. Open that browser page and from the browser select print. That will give you the option to save the page as a PDF. Alternatively, if you want an HTML file instead (which you could then view in your browser), select instead Current Character/Export/Export to File.

I am very pleased with this.  It does what you say it will do.  Nice and clean with proper page breaks.  I feel it will be MUCH easier to introduce new players to Champions with this verses others that don't fit pages properly or break at the end of a page while in the middle of information on the sheet.  Thank you for this.

This is great, perfect for printing, which was just what I was looking for!  There are several instances of the non-breaking-space character having a second trailing semi-colon (which shows up in the output).  I've updated the file and attached (it's minor, but OCD says fix it!)

I'll upload that as an update later

Thanks for fixing it. It's how I got started making these. Dan's original 5e built in template didn't work in Safari. Because he had used an IE only tag. I cleaned it up, tested it and posted it to the old hero boards.

Works pretty good, but if you character have an long backstory then it would get caught off into two pages. Which mean that you have to scroll down one addition page to get to your other statistics. That may or may not be annoying after some time if you want to quickly look at all your character statistics

Hi Tasha,

I love the layout. Very nice work. However I'm seeing it drop out content. Like take a look at this section screenshot. This character has 3 different drain powers in a multipower. it's not showing what each of them is draining (STR, DEX, EGO). I'm on a Macbook Pro, Ventura OS and opening it in Firefox. Any suggestions?
