Cancer Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 Re: The Last Word No; I just wrote an exam that's too long. I forgot that for this type of exam the time factor is 5, not 3. To explain what I mean by that: I write an exam, print it out, then leave it aside for half a day. Then I sit down and take it, answering every question in the way I think it should be. I time myself. For an essay exam, I have found that students take about 3 times as long as I do. But for problem-solving exams, it's a factor of 5, and I had forgotten that.
