Re: The Last Word

you've never heard the word "gun" meaning very good? The closest I can find in the dictionary is "big gun informal an important or powerful person." eg: gun golfer, or gun sportsman.

Another meaning could come from the phrase "young gun" but being used for a different occupation or activity you excel at.

so when Cancer says loaded lawyer, and I added gun, to become loaded gun lawyer? get it now?

Re: The Last Word

no. if i am correct that it is comes from "Young Gun" or from gunslinger then it is common English. I am right:

gunslinger |ˈgʌnslɪŋə|noun informala man who carries a gun and shoots well.figurative a forceful and adventurous participant in a particular sphere : the heroes of Wall Street were hip young gunslingers.

the shortened form would be "gun" not "gunslinger" but the informal meaning is the same.
