assault
I've been playing around with various Wonder Woman influenced character builds, and have run into a bit of a problem coming up with a Lasso build that I was happy with. Does anybody have any ideas for how to build a perfectly ordinary, entirely non-magical Lasso? Or, I suppose, a Bat-Rope. Some intial thoughts: it could allow a degree of manipulation of objects at a distance (Stretching or TK?), could entangle (obviously), could be used for swinging, as an aid to climbing, and even as a weapon (strangling). What else have I missed? How would you build it? Are there any good examples of such a build around?
ghost-angel
Re: Building a Lasso - any ideas? Entangle with Lockout. Stretching with Lockout. Swinging if you want to do that ... it can do a buncha stuffs.
Cardinal
Re: Building a Lasso - any ideas? I don't think that you even need the entangle. Stretching +str only for grabs does what you need.

Stretching +str only for grabs does what you need.Yep. In the Wonder Woman build I use for my Challenge of the Super-Friends games, her magic lasso's ability to hold people is just bought as Stretching. For the sake of simplicity, it's assumed that the lasso holds with the same force as her STR Grab does. However, that does make it tricky to do things like tying a person up and leaving them there... But your point is very much applicable for a bat line, etc. type of thing.
