He seems to enjoy playing the super hero game with Sprite. He is a bit on the arrogant side and very very popular with local authorities (for reasons Sprite can't fathom). He also seems to be trying to impress her or "woo" her. In short, she thinks he's a ponce and wants to prove herself the superior hero. 20 Social Limitation: Secret Identity (Very Frequently, Major) Notes: Arwen's unusual appearance makes keeping her secret Identity more difficult. 5 Unluck: 1d6Total Disadvantage Points: 350Background/History: Arwen Pedersen is the daughter of David Pederson, former Metahuman Tactical Response liason to the superteam the Vanguard. Though David never took active part in the adventures of 'his' team; he was a fixture at their base and worked tirelessly to make their jobs easier. It was through this that he met Kay Andress. Kay was (unbeknownst to her) of fey blood. This made her the target of the Lord of Night, a dark fey who dreams of conquest of the court. Exiled to Earth Realm, the Lord of Night has attempted several times to escape his prison using underlings who have the blood of fey in them. Kay was at the Vanguard's headquarters for a few months for her own protection after her initial encounter with the Lord of Night. It was there that she and David fell in love. They married in 1987. Arwen was born in 1989. Tragically, Kay was killed in 1992 during the Lord of Night's last attempt at returning to the Lands of Legend. David retired from his duties and set about being a stay at home dad. He was not at all surprised, and rather delighted to find that his daughter exhibited super powers. Arwen has grown into a lovely young woman and her foray into the world of costumed heroism has been more exciting and rewarding than anything she has ever known. Having her father there to help has made it even better. Personality/Motivation: Happy. Whether as Sprite fighting crime, or simply attending college and hanging out with Alex, Arwen is very content. Her father taught and continues to teach her all about responsibility and crime fighting, and she's an apt student. Though she's noble and self sacrificing, it's easy to mistake her swashbuckling, wise cracking personality as flighty and irresponsible. It's not always a mistake either. Quote: "Oh! A Gun! I've never seen one before, what ever will I do?"Powers/Tactics: Dodge, move, hit, repeat. Campaign Use: Earnest young heroine to round out team or take under wing. Appearance: Arwen has some odd characteristics, she's got pointy ears, her eyes are unusually large, and she's got straight white hair that hangs to about her waist. For the most part, she wears her hair in pig tails and wears glasses that make her eyes seem even bigger. Her face is beautiful and she has an easy grace when she moves that is quite alluring. As Sprite she wears a two tone blue body suit with a full mask, her hair comes out the back like a long top knot. Her build is somewhere between dancer and gymnast.
