Background/History : Highly skilled courtesan of the Tanashim palace, given in gratitude to the mage Vitus.

 

By most human standards, the Tanashim species is already inhumanly graceful and attractive. When one is a member of Tanashim royal bloodline, and has decades of experience in seducing humanoid species, they become almost irresistible.

 

Vitus became quite infatuated with 3, probable half-sister to the current ruler, during his stay on their world, and asked only for her in return for dealing with a major demonic incursion. If the Ka had any problems with giving away a relative to a non-Tanashim visitor he was certainly gracious enough not to show it, and it did, after all, give him a spy on Earth.

 

3, on the other hand, was less than impressed upon arrival. Not least because of her new Master's poverty, but because his almost total lack of previous experience and meagre social skills was something of an insult to her profession. Their relationship has been somewhat rocky, not least because there were no palace drudges to do the dirty work in the Skeleton Crew tenement. She amuses herself with nude callisthenics on the tenement roof, and seducing Vitus's students when he's not looking. He wouldn't mind that much, in fact, since until they graduate she technically outranks them, but if he ever finds out she and one of his students successfully seduced the notoriously relationship-shy Spectre, the Spectre is a dead man.

 

Powers : Superhuman beauty, grace, and seduction skills. Considers anything that resists a professional challenge - her Flash Attack ( Obvious Accessible - if you get Vitus's permission - Foci ) has successfully derailed more than a few fights, but it was her martial arts that took down Mechanon. Quite skilled in espionage as well, as befits any royal Tanashim seductress.

 

Personality/Motivation: Devoted, or at least very well simulated devotion, to her Master, Vitus. The rest of the Skeleton Crew have tried to explain about the Emancipation Proclamation, but she's having none of it.

 

Appearance: Slender and superficially human, bar the very long, sensitive ears. Enjoys exotically (to the Tanashim) dark hair, and finely furred scent-patches down her outer arm and sides. Her breasts - all four, are very modestly sized, as they don't swell until late pregnancy in her species, leaving the lower pair barely noticeable for the time being. Tanashim dislike the feel of heavy clothing, and given a better climate would prefer to spend their time nude. Nebraskan temperatures and the riots that would cause make that difficult, on Earth.

Campaign Uses : Harem Comedy springs to mind, but there's plenty of espionage, kidnap, and other possibilities as well.

And he threw 3 out in fury at her calling him no master and no wizard. Indeed, he very nearly killed her after she struck him. She's now shacked up with the Spectre, to Vitus's extreme irritation. The Spectre is trying, with little success, to teach her to be a free woman.

Given that the Spectre was an Abolitionist before and after the war, it is safe to say that he would dislike being listed as her owner, but he wouldn't object. If he did, 3 would become "upset" and then the Spectre has to placate her... *sigh*.

given that The Spectre is a centuries-old Southern abolitionist, yes, I think we can assume he would object. :DAnd if it hadn't been for the sex tape scandal, Vitus would never have thrown 3 out. It wasn't that 3 and one of Vitus's students successfully seduced the Spectre, although his was irritated the Spectre succumbed. The fact his student released he video to the world irritated him more, but not as much as 3 thought he should be irritated.Hence the argument. Vitus still desires her, but can never take her back after she slighted his skill as a wizard.3's "Slave of Vitus" psych-lim has been replaced with "fear of rejection."

Never underestimate the ability of the Skeleton Crew to turn any situation into a farce - sometimes it seems we treat the various alien invasions as brief intermissions before getting back to the in-party squabbling

I think it also has something to do with the fact that we have trouble keeping track of all the different End-Of-The-World threats that keep cropping up in and around Nebraska.
