USA-50 Team Package Deal

So if a super-hero is going to be on the team of USA-50,

these are my ideas of what skills and perks should he/she have:

The USA-50 team is IMHO loosely organized. They don't meet up daily,

and pal around in some Big Satellite of Justice. Perhaps they coordinate or convene once a quarter.

Mostly they patrol their own state, and go to help their

neighboring states once in a while if called.

They are separate from Ameriforce One, and answer to different authority.

In populous states, like Captain California, the local team member may be somewhat

redundant to all the super groups there, such as the Bay Guardians. And he'd patrol where they don't... But in other states,

like Indiana, the Hurryin Hoosier may the only super-hero for miles around.

Team members would be expected to take the following Things:

  • 15 Soc Lim: Subject to USA-50-Team Code of Conduct (Frequently, Major) (see below)
  • 10 Watched: USA Government 8- (Mo Pow, NCI, Watching)
  • 20 Hunted: Enemies of the USA (Nation or Team) 8- (As Pow, NCI, PC has a Public ID or easy to find, Harshly Punish)

SKILLS:

  • 3 Criminology 11-
  • 2 KS: Criminal Law and Procedure 11-
  • 2 KS: The Superhuman World 11-
  • 2 KS: World Politics 11-
  • 2 AK: City, State, USA 11-
  • 3 Choice of Teamwork or Tactics

PERKS:

  • 3 Fringe Benefit: Federal Police Powers (ID card also a Passport)
  • 5 Fringe Benefit: Law Enforcement or Military Rank (includes Computer Link: Global Supercommunity Database )
  • 5 Fringe Benefit: Security Clearance (inlcudes radio Mind Link (IIF) (Earbud)
  • 6 Team "Blackberry" HRRP (Radio Group) (12 Active Points); Sense Affected As Sight, Hearing, & Radio (-1/2), OIF (-1/2)
  • 5 Optional: Contact: USA Government (Contact has access to major institutions, Contact has significant Contacts of his own,
  • Contact has useful Skills or resources, Good relationship with Contact)
  • 5 Contact: TheChicago Chief (or whoever is the boss) Police Liason (Contact has access to major institutions)

here's the USA-5O page in case you don't know what this is from...LINK

Here's the details of the Group Rules:

USA-50-Team Code of Conduct (yes its copied off somebody's char.sheet)

USA-50-Team team members will:

* Respond to local, national, and international emergencies, including criminal activities.

* Cooperate with recognized civic, law enforcement, emergency response, and military agencies in response to emergency situations.

* Strive to prevent loss of life, personal injury, and damage to property in emergency situations.

* Uphold the principles of law, order, and justice.

* Respond anywhere and only where they are needed and wanted.

* Conduct themselves with integrity and decorum as befits true heroes.

USA-50-Team team members will not:

* Involve themselves in political and/or military conflicts.

* Endorse specific political candidates, parties, or agendas; or endorse consumer products or services.

* Use excessive force in the pursuit and apprehension of criminals, or in the discharge of other responsibilities.

* Use team resources except for legitimate USA-50-Team business.

* Antagonize, disparage, or hinder the efforts of civic and government leaders, military and/or law enforcement officials, other heroes, or the press.

* Engage in any behavior that reflects badly upon the team or its members.

Violations of the Code would be handled by the rest of the team.

Punishments could range from an informal reprimand (a 'talking to' by the team leaders) all the way to expulsion from the group.

====================================

If you're selected to be on this team, its a big deal.

But it also means you're not on some big famous well-loved team either.

Could be a good reason, could be a bad reason, or maybe the USA-50

person is considered an honorary member of some larger regional team.
