Speedball Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi all, I figure someone out there must have gone through the trouble of writing up stats for guns that were available in the "Old West:" The Sharp's .50 Cal, The Gatling gun, and all those good pieces of iron. I've seen them in other games, but would prefer not to have to convert them if someone else has already done a good job him/herself. Can anyone point the way? Or, if any of your friends is a GURPS player or GM, you could ask him/her if they have a copy of the Old West sourcebook. They've got listings for most of the hardware that was in use back then, as well as some going back before 1877. And as GURPS uses the d6 for damage like HERO, it shouldn't be too hard to convert from GURPS to HERO (as far as things like how many d6 of damage each weapon does).
