Steve
I came across an article about it on Wikipedia here.
Burrito Boy
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? I've read about this place in a few UFO books I have and what I've read scares the hell out of me.
Armitage
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? A lot of the post-Bennewitz material in that entry seems almost ripped from the Delta Green setting for Call of Cthulhu. Project Aquarius is the administrative branch of the Majestic 12 organization, which is concealing evidence of alien experimentation in return for advanced technology. Except that the Greys are actually biological puppets controlled by the Mi-Go. It says something when UFO investigators dismiss you as "a deluded crank". DusterBoy
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? I lost interest when I got to "humans and extraterrestrials cooperating in experiments", at least as in taking it seriously as an extant research base. Doctor Agenda
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? All the cool kids believe reptoids secretly rule the earth. I was just looking at Susano's Montauk Project thread in the Pulp forum, and the next place I look I find another thread with more stuff I can use for my conspiratorial Champions game. eloch
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? I've always wondered about the janitors who work at places like this or Area 51 or the Pentagon. They still need super top secret security clearance because they would work around sensitive material but they take out the trash and clean the toilets like regular old janitors. That might make a good PC or NPC, a member of the elite top secret Janitor Corps or maybe a pair of them stumble upon a piece of alien or experimental technology in the trash and plot hooks ensue... Doctor Agenda
Re: Dulce Base: The new Area 51? When I was in service, we took care of all classified trash. I remember a bunch of us being called out to clean up after an incinerator failure blew a bunch of classified docs all over the place. I don't know what standard practice is everywhere, but probably low-ranking employees 'sanitize' the area before janitors are allowed near it. And that's still with the janitors having clearances. They don't have a need to know.
