I dropped level titles early on, alignment languages soon followed.

I'm running an AD&D 2e Forgotten Realms campaign with a trio of setting-specific deity supplements* (Faiths & AvatarsDemihuman Deities and Powers & Pantheons). One of the ways each faith is expanded upon is via titles/church "ranks" that can apply to the Priest and occasionally Druid class. Below are two examples ->

Istishia, god of elemental water, water elementalists, purification through cleansing, wetness.

In ascending order of rank, the titles in general use by the priesthood are: Essential Servant (full priest), Spring of the God, Tidal Messenger, Cephalian, Full Flood (senior priest), Monsoon, Typhonic Oracle (head of a temple or large shrine), Grand Oracle (senior or elder head of a temple), Stratus Primae (leader of a region's temples and shrines) and Delphine Regent (hereditary leader of the faith).

Lathander, god of spring, dawn, birth, renewal, creativity, youth, vitality, self-perfection, athletics.

In ascending order of rank, the titles in general use by the Dawnbringers are: Dawngreeter, Dawnlord (the church does not use feminine form of titles often), High Dawnlord, Dawnmaster, Morninglord, High Morninglord, Mornmaster, High Mornmaster, and Sunrise Lord.

Unfortunately, these supplements do not explain if these titles are level-based (an automatic benefit to rising in power) or mission/quest-based (earned by the completion of thematically relevant tasks). I ended up taking a look at AD&D's Character Class titles for some inspiration.

* Amazing books, by the way; I consider these some of the best ever TTRPG supplements.

Putting aside a debate about Forrest as a person and commander and all of the related controversy, the position of the Trust on this statue is:

1. Forrest was not present at the Battle of Nashville

2. The property has no historical significance related to the battle other than a spring house and ice house that was part of a large estate where CSA Brig. General Claudius Sears was taken for a leg amputation-the home has long since been destroyed by Interstate 65

3. The statue is ugly

4. Even Forrest would think it is ugly

5. It hinders our mission and what we are trying to accomplish.

The Trust is grateful for the gift by Mr. Dorris.
