Background/History: Alexander "Alexi" McKenna was born in 1985 in Sentry City, Missouri. His father is Sasha Kostya McKenna, a former Russian Olympic Gymnast and Spetsnaz Fitness Instructor who now teaches Martial Arts and Fitness Training. His mother is Murron Tara McKenna a Ballet Dancer, Actress, and Model who now teaches Ballet. Finally his big sister is the supermodel and actress Tamara McKenna.

 

He was literally raised in the family Arts & Athletics Center. Alex was an excellent student, but a gifted athlete. He excelled at anything he tried, but his passion was to join the Canadian Olympic Gymnastics Team. He eventually won a spot as an alternate, but his dreams of Olympic glory were smashed when Doctors discovered he was a mutant.

 

Life went on and a few weeks later a talent scout for Cirque du Soleil offered him a position as a Artist/Acrobat. Still a minor his parents agreed. He worked for them for 2 years and then his big sister called. She had been bugging him for years to join her in Paris and work as a Model and Actor. Now 19 he readily agreed. While there he discovered Parkour, the Art of Movement during a Stunt Work shop and quickly became an expert.

 

Then fate stepped in. During a fashion show in featuring Catherine Marie Beauchamp, is a French fashion designer and the head of one of the ten haute couture design houses in Paris. Eurostar attacked and took hostages.

 

Fortunately UNTIL received a tip and Defender Agents arrived along with the several French superheroes Siene (Left & Right Blank), the Chevalier, Autour (Goshawk), and a PRIMUS Silver Avenger arrived together.

 

Fiacho and the rest of Eurostar, caught off guard launched an immediate all out attack. Unfortunately Fiacho neglected to issue orders to his Terrorists. They panicked and then turn on the hostages.

 

Alexi's dressed in a tuxedo and wearing mountain lion mask felt his perceptions change. Everything and everyone seemed to move in slow motion. Seeing his sister threatened an animal scream burst from his throat, startled the Terrorists, who swung around to face this unknown threat firing as they brought their weapons to bear.

 

Moving with superhuman speed and agility he moved in on the Terrorists. He struck out instinctively and quickly took them out. Outside Eurostar had underestimated UNTIL and the Heroes. They fought a retreat and unfortunately Fiacho's arrived in time to find a male model standing over his Terrorists. Alex turned to see Fiacho and they maneuvered for position.

 

Fiacho's training, augmentations, and experience vs Alexi's youth, raw talent, and natural aptitude. Experience won, but before he could deliver the " coup de grâce" he was rescued by La Panthere. Between them they managed to drive him off. Unfortunately in the battle they had both lost their masks and they recognized each other.

 

La Panthere - "Well well Monsieur! It seems we both have secret to keep. N'est ce pas? Alex?"

Cougar - "Oui Madame Beauchamp"

 

Smiling insanely at each other they ducked back into the dressing rooms without being seen and changed. Then walked out together arm in arm together as if nothing happened. Alex left Madam Beaucamp to find his sister and see that she was safe. She was more concerned about him doing something reckless. She took one look at him and knew that he was the one who knocked out the terrorists.

 

Tamara - "I think we had better talk"

Alex - [smiling crazily] "Ooooh yeah!"

 

A few days later Alex received a delivery from Catherine Marie Beauchamp with a note. Inside was a costume made of a BioSteel body stocking with gloves, and helmet.

 

The note read "With great power comes great responsibility" "So use responsibly N'est ce pas? Cougar"

Personality/Powers: Cougar's primary reason for donning a costume and fighting crime is protect those who can not protect themselves and and the thrill of it. Cougar's strength, agility, speed, durability, and endurance are all at superhuman levels. He also possesses a Healing factor and has mastered the art of Pakour.

 

 

Quote: "Not a good day to be a bad guy?"

 

 

Appearance: Under his mask, Cougar is supermodel good looking in his early twenties (roughly 21 or 22 years old). He's in phenomenally good physical shape, with a strong, muscular build. As Cougar, Alex wears a dark gray BioSteel silk body stocking and full faced Feline stylized helmet.

 

 

Campaign Use/Plot Hooks: 1.) Dependent NPCs, 2.) Mutant prey of Minute Man Robots/I.H.A., 3.) VIPER wants to deal with this meddler, 4.) Green Dragon and Cougar have faced off numerous times. So far Cougar has managed to earn a draw. 5.) His PS's and KS's can get him into lots of trouble including his looks.

1. Who were your parents? Did they raise you? If not why? If not them who? What is your current relationship with the person/people?

His father is Sasha Kostya McKenna, a former Russian Olympic Gymnast and Spetsnaz Fitness Instructor who now teaches Martial Arts and Fitness Training. His mother is Murron Tara McKenna a Ballet Dancer, Actress, and Model who now teaches Ballet. Finally his big sister is the supermodel and actress Tamara McKenna. Father and Mother are unaware of Alex's Superhero Identity, but his older sister knows worries about him. Brother and older sister are close.

 

2. Did you have any childhood friends? Any siblings? Where are they now (if you know)? Do you stay in touch? Why or why not?

Alex always had a group of friend from School, the Gymnastics Academy, and Scouting. Training for the Olympics made it difficult to stay close and leaving at an early age afterwords he really did not bond closely with his school friends.

 

3. What sort of childhood did you have? Try to give more than one word for a response. "Normal" isn't as good as "I had an uneventful suburban childhood with no major family drama to speak of."

Healthy and Active as expected when raised by health nuts, an older sister, but very focused on Olympic Gold. Later with Cirque du Soleil and as a Model he really learned about the Entertainment World.

 

4. Who is/are your role model(s)? Why?

Olympic Gold Medalist in Gymnastics Alexander Dityatin (Russian) and Paul Hamm (American). Vanguard of the Justice Squadron and the PRIMUS Golden Avenger (As a kid he wanted to join PRIMUS and become a Silver Avenger).

 

5. Prior to becoming a superhero, what did you do for a living? Were you trained to be a superhero? By whom? What sort of relationship did you have with your mentor/master?

Acting, Circus Performer, Model, Singer, Dancer, Bodyguard, Martial Arts Instructor, and Stuntman. All were in related fields, but Superhero-ing he was not trained for, but received lost of encouragement from local LEO's and Superheroes who paths he crossed. He's very good a the protecting, fighting, and media part, but the actual Crime Fighting stuff is still new.

 

6. (This is a hard one) What are your ethical beliefs? Moral beliefs? These can vary greatly. There were Samurai, for example, that valued honor above even their own safety.

As cliche as it sounds Cougar is honestly Heroic. He wants to protect people. As a Thrill Seeker well that may just be youth and power. He's not a Boy Scout either, but he will only consider using lethal force if required. As for personal code of honor... I am not sure he has one. (A unique character for me.)

 

7. Do you have any unusual habits or physical traits that are noticeable or easy to identify you by? Where do they come from?

Super Model good looks (if unmasked) and a Superman Physique (he takes his shirt off) He wears a full body costume.

 

8. If you meet someone for the first time, what is your general reaction? Why?

As Cougar generally cautious. He is still new to the Superhuman World and Crime Fighting and has a lot to learn.

 

9. How do you feel about killing? When did you decide (or learn) that you could or could not? Why would you kill someone? Do you have any true enemies? Would you be able to kill them?

Only to Protect Innocents, like a Law Enforcement Officer. Shortly after the International Olympic Committee destroyed his dreams of Olympic Gold. Green Dragon hates Cougar for not respecting Kung Fu Master, too evenly matched. VIPER hates his guts for foiling several operations. Unless they were about to kill an innocent, no! otherwise yes!

 

10. Detail some of your relationships? Do you have any close friends? Any bitter rivals? A girl/boyfriend, or a husband/wife? How do you act around them?

Various women from the Entertainment World. Only one as Cougar. La Panthere is a good friend and adviser. No rivalries that his aware of, but with his looks and talents he still manages to make a few enemies. Disappearing to fight crime has made life difficult and he has an unfair reputation for commitment issues.

 

11. What sort of things do you have bad reactions to? Do you have any phobias or intense dislikes?

Violence against children and women. Being forced or pushed to make a decision or choice. Reacts badly to authoritative commands.

 

12. How quickly can you learn to trust somebody? How fully do you trust people?

Using the old Missouri quote works best "Show Me!" The Entertainment World really opened his eyes to trust issues, but he is still new to crime fighting and has a lot to learn. Too trusting is some cases.

 

13. Describe your physical appearance. This includes style, manner of dress, any tattoos or piercings, any deformities or physical defects or injuries.

A young and very handsome version of Captain America (Steve Rogers) wearing a full body mask and costume with a Cougar theme. His supermodel can cause negative reactions, but his presence is equally strong. As Cougar it is threatening to Bad Guys and Alex it is stage presence.

 

14. Do you have a daily routine? How do you handle interruptions and changes to it?

Professionally Alex works through an Agent so sometimes he is away from Sentry City (Lots of early "Guest Star" appearances). As a Superhero he monitors the NEWS and occasionally patrols the inner city areas. Otherwise he trains. Interruptions are frustrating, but when Duty Call he responds with Thrill Seeking joy.

 

15. Were you present for any major event in the world, historical or otherwise? Did it affect you? If so, how?

Doctor Destroyer's attack on Detroit and Takofanes' march across the Midwest. Cougar is determined to do his part. Save lives and bring the Bad Guys to justice.

 

16. Is your lineage, ancestry, or family name known for anything? oes this affect you?

His father is Russian and his mother Irish. Whatta yah think?

 

17. Where are you from? Where are your parents from? Do you embrace their culture?

Cougar is from Sentry City, US. Father is from Kiev, Russia and mother is from Dublin, Ireland.

 

18. What are your dreams and/or ambitions. What are your lifelong goals?

To one day become a PRIMUS Avenger, then Politics, and maybe President.

 

19. What are you doing to seek to obtain them? How does adventuring fit into this dream, or does it at all?

Adventuring and Crime Fighting fill the need for Thrill Seeking. Maybe later when he's forty he can retire to purse his other dreams.

 

20. How do you feel about the opposite gender. Again, your answer should be detailed. Men, do you hold the door for ladies at any chance? Do you think all women are crazy? Women, do you let the men buy you a drink? Do you drink it? Do either of you have a significant other in your life? Do you ultimately want to meet one? Does/will they know about your superhero career? Do you plan to have a family someday.

He loves the opposite gender as often as possible. He is a gentleman to the Ladies with a charming almost cheerful lechery. A bit of a bad boy image.

Sasha was a Soviet Defector from the 1984 Summer Olympics (XXIII Olympiad) in Los Angeles. When he rejoined his love Murron they decided it would be better for Sasha to take his wife's surname to avoid being Hunted easily by Soviet Agents. After the end of the Cold War and fall of the Soviet's in 1992 their children, family, and friends were so used to it that they never changed back.

 

Writing needs work, but I think you get the drift. I need more practice.
