Fryguy
If an attack has AP and PEN then which one is applied first to a target's DEF? Addendum to my first post...I forgot about the edition. We play with 5e.
Hyper-Man
Re: AP and PEN attacks Are you talking 6e or 5e rules? (It makes a HUGE difference)
Tasha
Re: AP and PEN attacks In 6e AP applies first, then Penetrating because Penetrating only applies if the Attack does no damage. Also in 6e AP is negated by Hardened and Penetrating by Impenetratable. in 5e I think that AP is first then Penetrating, but it may be up to the Player when the power is first created and not able to be changed later. fbdaury
Re: AP and PEN attacks In 5th ed, in the notes for Hardened in the defenses section it does note that if the target has one level of hardened and is hit by attack with both advantages, the target picks which advantage the hardened is effective against.
