tkdguy
Re: The Four Element(tal Forces) That was a pretty good presentation. I wish I could get my kids to watch this stuff sometimes.
AlHazred
Re: The Four Element(tal Forces) I'm at work so I can't watch the video, but my initial instinct when faced with the subject was "What, fire, earth, air and water? How's that Science Fiction?" A moment's further consideration led me to the correct impression. I need to read more sci-fi, stat!

On a philosophical level the traditional four alchemical elements are not complete anathema to science, if you equate earth, water, and air to the states of matter (solid, liquid, gas), and fire to the energy whose addition or removal changes matter from one state to another. Still, I need to read more sci-fi.
