Edsel
As near as I can determine the average road flare burns at about 1400 F (various types vary between 800 & 3000 F). If a character is using a lit road flare as a melee weapon how much damage will it do? I am thinking either 1d6 HKA AP or maybe 1 1/2d6 with no AP. TheRealDeal
Have it do torch damage, since the flare fire is smaller than a torch but hotter. 1 pip to 1d6 K. If the attack hits the Head, perhaps also give it a a flash of the same amount, 3d6 flash for a 1d6 K flare attack.
JasonPacker
I think I'd go with the 1d6 K, with the caveat that STR can not add to damage.
bigbywolfe
I think about 1d6 Killing sounds right with AP if you want. Maybe instead of Armor Piercing have it be Penetrating, but not versus things immune to high temperatures (ie anything with Life Support - Extreme Heat). Edsel
I ran it as a 1d6 K AP, STR adds no damage. It worked out well.
