mikelaff
(Cross posting from Kickstarter forum - I thought this might be of interest here. Please delete if I'm out of line) Extreme Earth for Hero System has been released on RPGNOW. (KS backers - you should have received a DL link for your copy a few weeks back. PM me or reply to this thread if you didn't) Many thanks again to Steve Long for writing the HERO System conversion for us. Elevator Pitch: Extreme Earth is a supers campaign setting inspired by the Iron Age of Comic Books. With eye-popping art by Jon Gibbons and evocative writing of Joe Bardales, Extreme Earth will transport you to a dangerous, dystopian world that can be described as 24 meets Heroes by way of the Iron Age of Comics. Extreme Earth will present information about the history and current state of affairs of this dystopian world, background dossiers on major players and organizations, rules for character creation, campaign advice for game masters to help bring the setting to life, and a full introductory adventure. Check it out now
Ndreare
What? How is it people are allowed to make Hero System kickstarter's without me knowing. I will have to check this out.

Because EE is a product that comes in multiple versions for multiple rules systems, it wasn't specifically pitched as a HERO System-based product, but as a setting. That doesn't detract from its quality, of course.
Balabanto
It's a really good setting. I paid for the special cover. It's not done yet, but that's okay. I gave them carte blanche.

That doesn't detract from its quality, of course. The Hero version was actually a late addition to the Kickstarter. When they first went live I contacted them about a Hero version and was told it wasn't in the plans. That obviously changed. The KS was successful, and a number of us on the board here made the same inquiry. Ultimately, a win for everyone.
