The reboot tackled the big issues of looking for food and water.

The original had a ridiculous robot dog.

The reboot had Michelle Forbes, Lucy Lawless and Dean Stockwell.

Also Richard Hatch was in the reboot.

The reboot wins.

As for Baltar, there is lousy continuity in the old series regarding whether he was killed in the first episode or not.

The reboot's ending was a cop out and a rip off of Experiment in Terra.  It pretty much wasted the talents of Forbes, Lawless, and Stockwell, and I enjoyed Lucy more on Parks and Recreation.

Battlestar Galactica: Razor was pretty good, but because of Stephanie Jacobsen.
