  1. Re: Traveller Hero... What's Next?

I think that adventures and details about sectors that have not been given before would be the coolest.

I do not know if you are confined by the license to any one sector or another, but there are quite a few (Antares comes to mind) that have never really been done.

A grand adventure in the Marches or even a short campaign like Psionic Knights from the DGP book would be neat also

  2. Re: Weapon Damage in Traveller Hero

OK..But why then are Starship based Plasma/Fusion RKAs?

I'll have to track down that article though.

I remember having to redesign all the Weapons in TNE when I got FF&F. For some reason when you plugged all the numbers using the formulas in that book, they were about one more level up across the board. We stuck with the lethality.

  3. Re: Your "2007" Pet Gaming Projects

Started up a FtF again having had only HC for gaming anything for some time.

This one D&D d20 3.5 set in Eberron.

At HC I have a few games that are still going strong, mostly HERO.

These include High Plains Heroes (Western), Musket & Sabre (Historical (Blackpowder) HERO c1715), Disillusion (Transhuman Space HERO), and The Savage Tide (D&D 3.5 Eberron, Adventure Path)

Not much of a Champions aficionado, but trying, I am running a Dark Galactic Champions (Destination: Transcend)

I always have ideas, and am toying with Iron Kingdoms (though I'd do D&D), and two historical games (Aztec/Conquistador c1500s, English Civil War, like a prequel to M&S).

I have too many pets, aye?

  4. Re: Eberron Hero

I think it was just a difficult fight. In the module as written for d20, you're looking at four PCs v two assassins. Here, things are more evenly matched numberswise and HERO using heroic rules options is more deadly.

  5. Re: Remember the Arcanum!

What a weird time for me to look back at the Hero Game's forums. It's been a while since my last visit but I just pulled out my copy of The Arcanum (yes the first edition was silver and the second was red) in the last few weeks.

When d20 first came out I briefly talked with S. M. Sechi, the owner of the property, about doing a d20 version for it. I had zero funding so I dropped it. Later, Morrigan Press, purchased the rights and produced the game using their house system, The Omni System. I don't have an opinion of the system as of yet but from initial appearances the rules don't lend themselves to flavor of the system. A HERO conversion would be better:).

    Anyway - onto the Nethermen.

If one were looking to run a campaign set in an Arcanum-esque time period, would the Valdorian Age product be of use?

    Later

So has this old Arcanum product been reincarnated as the Atlantis Supplement by Morrigan?
