  3. Re: The cranky thread Ok, just tonight as I was closing up the store we had the usual case of people coming in at the last minute and taking thier ****ing time in wandering around. But tonight hd an added twist. The part timer goes up to the remaining two people that are still in the store a few minutes after closing time and tells them that it's past closing time (in fact, every other store in the mall is closed). Thier response? "Oh don't worry, we're not going to but anything." My thoughts when hearing this: "THEN WHAT THE #@$% ARE YOU STILL DOING IN THE STORE YOU #$@%@$%@@$!$@$$&%&%*%$@$#!!!!!!?" Why are people so stupid? Why?

    why u all sux

Re: why u all sux Ok, if I'm reading this correctly "sux" translates into "sucks" in normal english. So by that reasoning, what mister troll boy said was "You all sucks." Which is just really poor grammar, which makes his initial post sadder than before.

  8. Re: Dear G-D, NOOOOOOOOO!!! I hate Hollywood! That would kinda mess with thier plans to give him his own movie if they did that (even though I'm not a fan of the character). The more I hear about what might happen with X3, the more I worry. Why, oh why couldn't Fox just wait for Singer to finish Superman and have him come back for the third?
  9. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat He insists that you smash your instruments at the end of every performance.
  10. Re: The cranky thread I've been feeling the same way myself this week, not so much stressed but agitated for some reason. I've been wanting to recreate a certain scene from Episode III (the one when Anakin pays a visit to the Jedi temple with a batallion of clone troopers) and I find myself asking "Where's a lightsaber when you need one?" But I think mall security frowns on stuff like that.
  11. Re: The Batman Handbook We got that in the store where I work. I've only filpped through it but it's amusing. Has info on how to slip into the shadows undected, setting up the Batcave, investigating a crime scene before the police arrive and even a section on how to train your sidekick. It has all you need to know about being a masked vigilante in a bat costume.
  12. Re: Favorite Superhero Lines Even though I'm not a big fan of Wolverine, he did have a good line in the first arc of Astonishing X-Men. The alien Ord is escaping in his ship, Wolvie catches up thanks to Colossus and the fast ball special. He crashes in through the window of the cockpit and shoves nearly his entire forearm into Ord's mouth. Wolverine: You bite, I heal. I pop, you won't.
  13. Re: Favorite Superhero Lines Favorite line from the Spider-Man movie: Bonesaw: What're doin' up there? Peter: Staying away from you....That's a cute outfit, did your husband give it to you? And one of the best Batman moments was the note he left on several members of The Hyperclan after he took them out: "I know your secret"
  14. Re: Spiderman vs... From what I've been told, Spider-Man took on the X-Men in Secret Wars and since he does have a highly effective in combat danger sense and probably the most agile hero in the Marvel U, he schooled them....until Xavier pulled a mind whamy on him. Also he did take on the Avengers in one of the early issues of the Marvel Knights Spider-Man (there was a misunderstanding when he broke into the mansion) and was really holding his own until Quicksilver showed up. As for the FF, the only thing I can think of is waaaay back in Amazing Spider-Man #1. IIRC, he broke into the Baxter Building and got into a fight with them simply so he could show him what he could do in hopes of getting hired by them. If anyone knows if this is what happened or not let me know, I wouldn't mind expanding my knowledge of the character.
  15. Re: Favorite Superhero Lines This is one reason why Spider-Man rocks. Why yes, Spider-Man is my all time favorite superhero, why do you ask?
  16. Re: Favorite Superhero Lines From the current Spectacular Spider-Man, issue 21. Spidey is playing poker with the FF, Archangel, Black Cat and Dr. Strange when Kingpin shows up and enters the game. After Spidey and the Torch provide comentary during one of the rounds of poker: Kingpin: It never ceases to amaze me that two children such as yourselves manage to survive in a man's world. It's a wonder you can put your spandex suits on correctly every morning. Spider-Man: I like being a kid--it's what keeps me young and interesting, you'd be amazed at the stuff I see. Reed Richards: Hehh--Okay, what's the craziest thing you've seen overall? Kingpin: A class clown dressed in a spider suit. Spider-Man: The Mafia. Kingpin: Touche.
