  1. Re: Paper Minatures

Is there any computer programs on how to make paper minatures. I know you can buy paper minatures' date=' but I want to know how to make custom paper minatures with my players characters on them.[/quote']This post tells how I make minis. It also has the template attached that I use. I hope it helps.
  2. Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics…

Finally got at the Female Villains. Very nice indeed.

Alwyn13: The Someone pic in the Female villains is Dawn by a guy called Liesner IIRC. The tear pattern from the eye is distinctive.

Yes, the artist is Joseph Lisner. Actually, Dawn is a red-head. This must be her cousin, or her evil twin from the mirror universe. ;)

I couldn't think of a name at they time I was copying the file, so I just made her "Someone".

Just finished my sixth and final (for now) golf lesson. A quick down and dirty covering of the short game; chipping, pitching, and putting.

Now I just need to practice for the next two or three months and I might be ready to actually set foot on an actual golf course. :o

For reasons that escape me' date=' I can access the Female villains but as soon as you click on the thumbnails all you get is a red X.[/quote']

I'm getting invalid links for the male heroes too.

I'll PM or e-mail Zornwil and see if he can check that out. I can view some of the items that you guys are mentioning, but not others. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

  5. Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics…

And why is the Demoness in the villains section ?

She's one of the good guys !

That would be entirely my fault. I was usually placing the pics in folders mostly based on my my interpretation of the character being portrayed. Sometimes I didn't actually read the descriptions accompanying the pics. No offense to any of the characters was intended or implied. :o:)

  6. Re: Hero Talk Magazine

Dude, I made the cover of Hero Talk. That's even better than being on the cover of Rolling Stone.

I'm not sure how Jeff (Forrester, aka SCEPTRE) is going to handle this. It's a huge piece of publicity, but he already puts way too much pressure on himself to live up to the reputation of the hero. This will only add to that pressure, by placing him more squarely in the public's eye. Oh well, just part of being a hero I guess. :)

Great interview Doctor. It's so cool to read about characters talking about your own character. :)

And Dr. Powers hit it right on the head. Jeff (aka SCEPTRE) truly has the Golden Age spirit; although there are moments when a bit of the Bronze Age shows through, due to the fact that the world isn't as black and white as he would like it to be. Jeff probably was a Golden Ager in his previous life.

    Thanks i.j

Again I just want to say that I have no intention of taking any credit for, making a profit from, or anything else with these pics. I share them with the other players in my group, and we use them in our campaign. I just knew how much time and effort it took me to collect them and wanted to save others that trouble. Zornwil is just providing a place for them to be shared with anyone else searching for good char pics. :)

  9. Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics…

wow, there's a few pictures my friend did up there. :)

Myriad and Chaos are heroines though. :)

Sorry about that nexus. There are probably quite a few pics in the "wrong" folders. I grouped them according to how I saw the character, not necessarily how the creator did. Even so; great char pics are still great char pics, no matter how they're categorized. ;)
  10. Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics…

Nifty. A buddy called me last night mentioning pics from the RCU were on there. As one of the artists, he mentioned feeling a little weird about the pic just showing up without any mention of his name.

I'm going to get links to all the RCU pics and ask for a separate link of RCU only giving credit to the artists. Don't think I'm pissed, I just want credit where it is due. I think the idea is incredible and it looks like Wilson outdid himself!

Savinien, I'd like to extend my sincerest apologies to your friend, and all of the other artists who's work has been posted in this collection without their names. I would love to have credited each and ever pic, but this was definitely a "grab the pic as you see it" collection. A lot of times the artist's names weren't there anyway. That's why I had Wilson add the disclaimer that I only gathered, and am taking no credit for doing any of the artwork (other than a handful of them that I actually did do).

    Tee hee

I get all amused when I look through someones pic albums and find drawings I did.

Ok, so there were only a few, but still

    tee hee.

I always like it when I see someone's art postings and find drawings that I like enough to add to my collection. :D

Thanks to everyone that's posted artwork to these boards, or on their own websites.

  12. Re: The Night of the 1001 Character Pics…

Frenchman, you can download Firefox for free and it will display the images and IMHO is a much better browser than IE.

Aylwin13 - Great pictures and thanks for the link. One question would it be possible to get a single zip that contains all of the images?

I believe that is a question for Zornwil, as there are some 300+mb worth of files there. I don't know how big an issue that would be.
