in the next week or so I am going to have a big zip file of new vehicle conversions for posting, a little bit of everything from WW1 on in this batch, including some civilian stuff, I am also taking requests if anybody needs something in particular I havent done yet

while moving my copy of TUV went to pieces, and I cant find the page that has the formula for converting real world speeds to Hero movement, and I cant even find the spreadsheet I setup for doing it, can somebody help me out?
I really dont need a second copy of TUV, and this is about all I use it for anymore

The Active Arrays can have a range of anywhere from 3,000 to 480,000 kilometers
And consists of a variety of active and passive sensor emitters, making it a much more sophisticated
Version of Radar.[Radar, Lidar, Sonar]
Passive sensor arrays, use large antennae to detect any electromagnetic emanations from a potential target.

Re: Anyone have pre-made star ships???
or you could try the internet wayback machine, and you might be able to scare up one of the pre-release versions that were available
-
Re: Anyone have pre-made star ships???
thought I heard my name taken in vein, or was it artery, I have a displacement crapload of assorted starship stuff archived, not just for traveller, I just have to figure out what I can and cant hand out
at the very least I can probably toss out the generic traveller starship template
-
Re: Feeding a starship crew for a year
this is where hydroponic tanks can be very useful too... grow some veggies etc... extra oxygen scrubbing etc
for colonization purposes we could talk about various crops that have a myriad of uses, Hemp comes to mind for starters

Re: Has anyone built any of the characters from Star Trek - Deep Space 9?
ages ago there were pdfs for TOS Star Trek and TNG Star Trek conversions, Eodin was the one who did them, just not sure where you can find them anymore

Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?
ok folks, I have managed to scare up a few more books, they are 50.00 a set plus shipping, before I ate the cost of shipping, I really cant do that this time, shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail with return receipt, so total cost should be about 56.50
per set, this also assumes shipping inside the US

Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?
next time I see Marc Miller I will run this by him, I just never know when I am going to see him... he might be at Spring Offensive next weekend...

Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?

Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?
I dont have a problem with the 0.9 pdf being being passed around, mot sure how the powers that be will be about it
-
Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?
contact Polaris here on the Hero Boards... as head of Comstar to begin with, he can probably shed more light on things than I can, as far as the pdf going out of print, its all a licensing issue at this point

he created Empire of the Petal Throne among a lot of other things

Re: Back to Traveller Hero
been away from the boards for a while guys... especially after a recent heart attack... but you can probably blame me for a lot of the heavy handed mechanics in Traveller Hero...
one problem with Starship and vehicle design in the Hero system that has existed since 4E is that there are no rules for space/volume/mass etc for various components... the only system that did have it was in Champions 2, and I was told I couldnt use it
in TH... which I to this day do not agree with. so it becomes up to the GM to determine this.
