ok, as of this moment I have 8 sets of the books available for sale. so please get with me by message if you still want a set, the sets are 50.00 each plus shipping, for US that will be flat rate priority mail with a tracking# provided, so for US lets call it 6.00 for shipping, foreign customers I will have to determine shipping costs seperately.

  3. Re: Ring of Fire - Fantasy Hero style

i dont see any reason why it couldnt, we did something similar at a local gaming club, GM was new to the club and went with your loosely playing yourself. couple of folks were ROTC, most of us had spent time in the SCA or similar organizations, and one of the players was the high priestess of the local wiccan coven, it made for an interesting party mix. most of our modern gear failed, although he let one player bring in a laptop, that was later enchanted to not need a power recharge. this threw a monkey wrench into things, as this person had a really large collection of assorted books in pdf or text format that proved really useful.

  4. Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?

ok folks, I have finally gotten access to the TH books, and can take orders, so I need a count once again on who still wants a set, will be 50.00 a set plus shipping, shipping will be Priority Mail with a tracking#, originally I ate the cost of shipping, but I cant do that anymore. the price for the books itself is the same as original retail price. I dont have the books in hand yet, so I wont take money, but I should have then within a couple of weeks, and will ship within a day or two of paypal being verified

  5. Re: Source for Comstar Traveller Hero books?

  7. Re: Building a Star System

depends on how much detail you want, I still use Heaven and Earth or Galactic 2.0 for star system generation, they were designed for use with Traveller and GURPS, but could be adapted for most anything

  8. Re: Special Missions team

one slant on a special missions team I really like is the "Scientists with Guns" in the Sigma Force series by James Rollins, there a military special missions team, where all the members have at least one advanced science degree besides the military backround, and usually speak at least one other language.
